I believe it is pronounced med-jih like Jedi. I remember from the cartoon show The Mummy. And this was probably my last or second to last Egypt adventurers lego. It was proabably the bigest i had until T-Rex transport from Dino Island. I think that's what it's called. Awseome set, loved the traps and turns and stuff. great vid.

@TheAnthony1256 They are really hard to find at reasonable cost. I got ALL of my old sets on EBAY and had a lot of luck. Some of the prices on EBAY are way too high and you just have to set up a WATCH for the model and when it comes try to get it for a good deal..

I actually remember picking up this when I was at Legoland in Windsor, Engalnd. Very cool set, I loved the Johny Thunder line of products. Great review Bill.

PS: The reason you didn't get a box with it is because it actually (when released) came with a cool golden lego carrying case to hold the set. :]

when u are done showing us the sets u make, do you tear them down and scrap them for the parts, or do you keep them together in a specified room?

if you DO keep them up, do you arrange them in a theme? (like all the jonny Thunder sets are all displayed together....etc.)

i was wondering what it looked like and the special features. it may be a bit in the past but if you look for it you could find.

There is no such model. GOOGLE LEGO EGYPT and look for the PEERON list of the EGYPT sets and there is no TEMPLE OF ANUBIS. BTW - I've got the set "Pharaoh's Forbidden Ruins" coming in... BIll

I've just looked at Pharoah's forbidden ruins and that was the set I meant by the Temple of Anubis, I read in a magazine once and they said it was named the Temple of Anubis, heh, well I got proved wrong, =)

It is Johnny Thunder. Lego didn't get the INDY franchise until recently and LEGO used JOHNNY THUNDER as their adventure hero in a lot of sets from 1998 - 2003... Bill

If I did Stop Motion video the way I would like it I would end up putting out one film a week or two MAX. I like to build models and do so daily. Stop motion is a art form and takes tons of time. What I really like about the older sets is you get a PRIMARY model and 4 or 5 pictures of IDEAS. Thus instead of a 2 hour build it can be a 8-10 hour build. I think they are screwing the buyer by not including IDEAS - which as you well know I build em all...  You are right... Bill
