@SuperQuater there was a some sort of clause in his contract with Festival that limited his chances of making it overseas. Some of the greedy business geeks that ran the music industry back in the 60's are quite responsible for many Aussie 70's acts not making it overseas. Sad, but true.

My second all-time favorite is 'Flower Garden' by Nick Lampe, an obscure and little known song from 1970. It didn't achieve much success elsewhere, but was a moderate hit in Melbourne. It is fantastic, and such meaning-

ful lyrics..

'One of these days, you're going to wake to find life gone...' in other words, don't waste life's opportunities.
