  • i used to dance my nuts off to this back in the day

  • harrington bar liverpool.

  • Fucking excellent track.....Aldabaran days in Vanderbijlpark South Africa

  • Such a good track, even Faithless couldn't fuck it up...

  • @diskochimp faithless couldn't fuck something up if they tried!

  • Blancmange = Early 80s nite clubs ... fun times! Club Voodoo and Bio-rythm in Toronto!!!

  • Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mind you my favourite is still Living on a Ceiling

  • I was working in the construction industry. It was the 80s I had one of those big portable stereos that blasted it out. We were on the roof of a 3 storey building repairing the tiles. We had this song blasting out full power people looking up from the street, 3 grooving construction workers shaking it to this song. A small crowd gathered in their lunch break. We got a round of applause at the end. Thanks for the clip bringing back the memory.

  • i got the 7" pic disc of this , nice disc .

  • yep the 12 inch was pretty good ,but wasnt out there , shud have been a big hit,my gain ,everyone elses loss

  • @ SuspectVandal- I actually quite like the Faithless version ... it is good to see them reving what is essentially a lost track with a modern feel. It is a remix ... it aint supposed to be the same!

  • Sing it with faithless LIVE would be awesome... :-D

  • excellent "disco- new wavw " styll song !!

the one that i liked most after "living on the ceiling"

  • Faithless just did a version of this! It sucks ass!!!

  • A great tune.. Blancmange were a quality band!!

  • one of the best long-play records of the 80s. reminds me of going out and dancing all night long.

  • Youtube music is not complete without people launching Napoleonic hate-campaigns against one another in the comment threads.

    Sweet track, thanks for uploading!

  • Blew me away when I bought Happy Families new, blows me away 25+ yrs later.

  • love all the deep almost goth vocal tones from the 80's thompson twins theese guys visage and so on, nobody sings like this anymore...this sounds like annie lennox? on back up vocals is it?...

  • i think it's a sample of her

  • freakin awesome

  • Saw them at rock city 1983 Nottingham doing this track live, well they were there.... they were magic... just lstened again, brings back great memories.

  • this is their best song next to don't tell me

  • try mixing this with chic- good times 12" mix, truly awesome

  • eh no.

  • try it with a cdj 1000 mk3 and then you may realise, or even listen to wildstyle by time zone and dream of that bangin mix

  • nah not a bing fan of time zone but i'd definitly mix it with some classic synth/electro like the human league, fad gadget, etc

  • I think you missed the point, Wildstyle by Timezone sampled the bassline from Feel me

  • no i think you're just suffering from cognitive stupidity. and I don't see what is so great about shit-hop retards with nearly unknown songs that no one will remember, who rip off more talented bands like blancmange and kraftwerk(bambaata stole from them).

we're talking about originators here, NOT RETARDED DOWN SYNDROME SHIT-HOP COPIERS. GET IT STRAIGHT DUMB FUCK.

    case closed

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork

One could argue that Arthur Baker and John Robie made a Kraftwerk cover version which is not stealing. Unfortunately for you i think Feel me is the forgotten track compared to the Wildstyle track however that is just my opinion.

  • LOFL the only people that were into wild style were afro-bozos + wigger shit-hop retards who still think fab five freddy is relevant. even out here in los angeles, the largest radio station called kroq used to(and still do currently on flashback weekends) play blancmange's feel me + don't tell me(madonna covered it also) regularly in the 80s. this is why my sister + her cheerleader girlfriends were into all the white electronic bands from europe.

you're just an illiterate monkey living in DK

  • here's a channel for you to look at because this is what they listened to and remember.

btw my sisters girlfriends are all smokin hot still and they're in their late 30s/early 40s now.

  • Its hard not to smile when reading your comments. Perhaps one day you realise there is a whole world out there

  • Always loved this song and the band great production but how much did they sound like Joy Division...

  • they didn't

  • well the singer def did

  • no he didn't

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • classic =)

  • There was another video version of this classic on here a few months back, Wots happened to it???

  • Love this...Reminiscing I used to go to independant record shops and the guy behind the counter would recommend a listen. I bought this on 12'..still have it...no finger prints...ha ha nerd alert

  • any chance you could upload the 12" here? the original already is a peach of a classic. the 12" is bound to be even surpassing that status. thanks in advance

  • there's a better remix to this that they did. more sped up.

  • I agree. The sped up version is nice too.

  • top tune this is still got the the vinyl to living on the ceiling and this was on the b side

  • ah songs from the good old DANCERTERIA DAYS..
