My view is that if Germany had won the war, Estonia would be much better off now, certainly the quality of life would be higher - instead of what it is now...almost as bad as Russia. some of you guys aren't talking any sense killing off Estonian civilians as payback for ww2 Russian losses. the reason the Russian losses were so high in battles like Stalingrad is because of the stupidity of the russian generals. @Arschmongole Drem shoud be dreamed in the bed. As you know, Japan and Russia had engaged a treaty (日ソ不可侵条約, Пакт о нейтралитете между СССР и Японией) in 1941. However, Suddenly, Russia had Attacked to Japan in 1945, lol. Russin has a word about "Shame"? I think they dont have.

@Arschmongole Do you want to say that Russia won a victory agianst Japan in the WWII? Russi just came and attakced japan just 6 day before Japanese surrender and killed many Japanese citizens and t\raped so many ladies. The surrendered soldiers were taken to Sivelia and forced to work and many died. Russia occupied japanese islands even after Japan surrendered on August 15 1945. We call this not a war, bur robbery. Japan can be a super military power once it decides to do so. But now we do not.

Russia suppressed the independence movement of Islamic states. Therefroe, if we form anti-Russian ally, we can easily make strong ally. European countries are also anti-Russia. Many Estonians do emigrate but a large number of Russians emigrate TO Estonia.

The GDP of Estonia is still more, whichever method you choose to use. And I know enough about economics to know that "liquidity" has absolutely nothing to do with PPP, check from the dictionary if you don't believe me.

@infiltr80r As I said Estonia have only slightly higher GDP per capita, all the difference is eaten by high prices in Estonia. Your people ready to stand in queues many hours on the border line to buy the most common goods in Russia or Belorussia like gasoline or bread. Liquidity have a direct relation to purchasing power of money, to the value for money. And Estonia's economy is very very small, simply micro market. To compare Russia and Estonia is the same as to compare village and huge city.

What queues are you talking about? We actually have more capacity to produce bread than Russia and therefore export it. We live in a global economy so if Russia doesn't want to sell it's oil, then there is always Saudi Arabia, Norway, Nigeria and so forth.
