It has to do with responsible dog ownership and putting dog fighters in prison. Pit-bulls have a testosterone level that is naturally MUCH higher than other breeds. This causes them to have naturally occurring aggressive tendencies that far surpasses other breeds.. I understand people wanting to side with the dog saying 'Its the owners fault, train out the dog's aggression' But that's only partially true and not possible.. You can't remove the species' INSTINCTS. No matter how much training you do. People with children should be aware of this, it could save their life.

Well after being threatened by this useless type of dog when I was simply walking by myself in open space I will definitely be ready next time. Its a real fun device I invented and i can hardly wait to use it. Its a sturdy walking stick and the lower part is hollow plastic and filled with a good 1/4 gallon of anti-freeze. When the next useless pitbull mutt goes for me i am going to let him bite into the plastic part thus allowing him to break into a nice gush of sweet tasting anti-freeze.

If your arguement holds true there would be just as many bad owners of Golden Retrievers, Labs, English Pointers, Setters, Hounds, etc. When was the last time you heard the headline "Pack of Golden Retrievers kills 7 year old"? Think about it for a minute. I had one of these living next door to me and it was very hard to control and showed signs of being very agressive.

All dogs bite. However, the pitbull bite is not only lethal, it also has a lock jaw mouth that won't let go. American pitbull terrier has a bite force of 1500 psi. Rottweilers have 500 psi. German sheperds have 200 psi. It's not the risk.

The Romans and later Europeans crossbreed them to accentuate those aggressive and physical traits. Those traits never go away. Aggressive dogs have existed long before humans had them as pets. For example, you take a farm pig and set it free. In a couple of weeks it will grow thick hair, a long snout and horns.

I myself had a Black Lab, and a mixed pitbull or a mutt, then one day 2 huge pitbulls came to my house and killed my lab, and badly damaged my poor little mutt, i had to put her down after her both right leg and hands were chopped off, the thing is that i knew those pitbulls, they were my neighbors, really nice people great with dogs, pitbulls were nice also, but i do agree that pitbulls, are naturally and instinctively attacking dogs.. its in their blood....those dogs are hard to control..

Pit-bulls have a testosterone level that is naturally MUCH higher than other breeds. This causes them to have naturally occurring aggressive tendencies that far surpasses other breeds.. I understand people wanting to side with the dog saying 'Its the owners fault, train out the dog's aggression' But that's only partially true and not possible.. Well after being threatened by this useless type of dog when I was simply walking by myself in open space I will definitely be ready next time. Its a real fun device I invented and i can hardly wait to use it. Its a sturdy walking stick and the lower part is hollow plastic and filled with a good 1/4 gallon of anti-freeze. When the next useless pitbull mutt goes for me i am going to let him bite into the plastic part thus allowing him to break into a nice gush of sweet tasting anti-freeze.

We don't need the ratter anymore because we have pest control so that leaves out the doxie, the lasa, the peek, the shihtzu, all the terriers, cattle and sheep dogs can stay so long as there is cattle and sheep to herd in the area really don't need them in cities no livestock. Pits are not naturally vicious. No dog is. It's the way humans raise them that makes them like that. If you want to blame someone blame the owner not the dogs.

All dogs bite. However, the pitbull bite is not only lethal, it also has a lock jaw mouth that won't let go. American pitbull terrier has a bite force of 1500 psi. Rottweilers have 500 psi. German sheperds have 200 psi. It's not the risk.

@iciewolf When you see a pitbull jump towards a suspended target bag and locks onto with its' jaw and able to hang there until commanded to otherwise. Also, a pitbull's wide mouth has been attributed to its' lock jaw anatomy.

@MrSafetymeeting Hahaha... People don't create dogs. Nature creates them. The Greeks picked the Molossian breed because of it's natural aggression and physical strength. The Romans and later Europeans crossbreed them to accentuate those aggressive and physical traits. Those traits never go away. Aggressive dogs have existed long before humans had them as pets. For example, you take a farm pig and set it free. In a couple of weeks it will grow thick hair, a long snout and horns.

if anybody thinks that a pitbull isnt naturally aggressive, they need to be attacked by one. i live 30 miles away from the town where this boy was killed, and my father lived just a few blocks. the owners were crackheads (most pitbull owners are involved with hard drugs). an innocent young boy was killed because some idiots couldn't keep their murderers on leashes......BAN PITBULLS FOR GOOD. thumbs up if you agree.

She has not bitten a single human being, can't guarantee that she wont but that's anything with teeth. She has a NATURAL prey drive that makes her chase squirrels just like any other dog. @TheMainSam Yes but statics are often skewed one way or another.Inaccurate cont of population, inaccurate or unidentified dog breed, and the fact that they group together certain breeds when they dont do that for labs and collies. That would triple the number and an inaccurate count of population of one actual breed would cause one breed to look like its more lethal in relevance to its population size.

I myself had a Black Lab, and a mixed pitbull or a mutt, then one day 2 huge pitbulls came to my house and killed my lab, and badly damaged my poor little mutt, i had to put her down after her both right leg and hands were chopped off, the thing is that i knew those pitbulls, they were my neighbors, really nice people great with dogs, pitbulls were nice also, but i do agree that pitbulls, are naturally and instinctively attacking dogs.. its in their blood....those dogs are hard to control..
