  • Ibanez rules :) I was hoping to get one like urs but eded up with a different Ibanez model, still it rocks

  • good lesson by the way

  • it's not a C chord it's a C9

  • Good lesson, saves re-tuning, keeps nice open string ringing sound and well presented with chord progressions. Many thanks¬

  • Thx for this tuto! I also hate to tune my guitar differently so thanks a lot. It's a simple way to play the song and I'm a beginner so... I like it :)

  • thats not how you really play it . its a completly different tuning. but it sounds similar

  • I'm trying to learn how to play the guitar (but it's a very slow process at the moment) and your help really is invaluable. So many thanks for breaking this down for me.

  • This is really easy and sounds great.

    Thanks, stuecke23! =D

  • Thank you! accurate & simple.

    Alter Bridge rocks.

  • Shit bro! you rock man haha, Thanx a lot you helped me out with my band. We wanted to make a cover for this song without detunning our guitars! Awsm bro...

  • thx...

  • it doesn't sound right.

  • @floridemar

    because it ISNT right...

when it is not in the correct tuning as the original, it isnt a lesson. this is the slacker's way to perform this song.

if you're serious about guitar and musicianship, buy a tuner, tune your guitar to open G, learn the CORRECT song.

that is what makes one a better musician. not skating through the song the wrong way so it only 'resembles' the original.

  • @skrape110 omg ..... i hate it when people forget that music is art not science , yes it has its technical side that is very important , but if u take a look into the past you will notice that some of the greatest pieces of music are not that tehnical(i'm not talking Mozart here :D ) , but they come from the heart and are played with passion.... for music not for money , also at the begining he mentions that it is his own way of playing it ..... well haters must hate ...

  • @Funktastick92

and playing something wrong and calling it art is a cop out that could only come from a poser... learn it right, get some skill, and DONT call it a lesson when its not.

this has nothing to do with music for money, and everything to do with playing the song correctly

  • really helpfull!! thks

  • thanks dude, i need these chords cause ill be preforming the song. more power to you!

  • Ughh, I can't work the strumming pattern :/ Help :S All I know is it starts Down Down Up

  • i think is suppose to be the 10 and 13 fret not 5 and 7 fret. idk. well good vid. 5 out of 5!

  • o_O V 5*

  • Hey "pliffusamongus".

That's called open G tuning. Just because this isn't the same tuning doesn;'t make it wrong. It makes "stuecke23" better for transcribing between tuning. negative asshole.

  • Thanks man :)

  • Is not correct because the tuning is D G D G B D

  • thank u soooooo much, i really like this song, so learning i was grrreaaat! thanks again

  • I've really been wanting to learn this song. I'm a straight up beginner, and I've chosen this as my first song to learn. Right now I'm having a lot of trouble with strumming, not sure if that's a problem with all beginners or not. Any suggestions? By the way, I love the designs on your guitar.
