Some people are saying this tune is a bit like Cash. This is nothing like Johnny Cash at all. The only thing this song has in common with anything JC ever wrote is that it is played on acoustic guitar. MM's singing style ,the pace of the lyrics and the delivery of the syllables in each word have nothing in common with JC's style. The guitar parts are very much generic rock ballad style 101. Johnny Cash wrote the majority of his work over 30 years ago which indicates how great he was.
