I am reading Gödel, Escher, Bach and the dialogue is called "crab canon". Also the name of a bach peice with the same idea of forwards and backwards paths. I can not post links, however it can be found by google searching the sentence "Achilles and the Tortoise happen upon each other in the park one day while strolling."
