Hell yeah! Nocturne had some sweet battle themes and the game is one of the best i've ever played!

My favorite from Nocturne is when you fight beelzebub and the regular boss battle theme.

You have to get to the bottom of the Kalpas and it should become fairly obvious what to do after that.

@Muncheiy Freedom and Demon are tied together: You have to not agree with any of the reason 100%, or agree with more than one. What differentiates the two is the questions Mithra gives you:if you say you're a demon and wish to remake the world, you get the demon ending, otherwise you get freedom. True demon is when you go to the bottom of amala before setting foot in the final dungeon (beware: some bastard bosses stand between you and it)

Just Shin Megami Tensei and Shin Megami Tensei 2. The addition of a second title is unique for Nocturne, and honestly I'm not quite sure why they added it.

The Lucifer's Call addition in the european version is rather odd, too. Why did they need to add it? They could've just a well dropped the Maniax from the name (since SMT3: Nocturne didn't originally have Lucifer as a secret final boss and the bonus duengon in them, the Maniax version did).

the thing i like about this track is that its BLEAK, esp considering where it plays... In most rpgs you get the reassurance that (90% of the time) everythings gonna be okay after the battle...during this battle i didnt know what to expect.

Final Fantasy has no room for comparison when it comes to bleak. At this point in Nocturne, you have single-handedly unhinged creation. This fight comes after that.

one of the best rpgs ive played. Beat it, loved it, and would gladly play it through again. There's only very few rpgs i liked better than nocturne. Which is Valkyrie Profile, Ar Tonelico, and Mana Khemia.

If you bought the game years back, it came with the soundtrack but the soundtrack didnt have all the music though. This track was on it. I have it though. BTW Lucifer was a pain in the ass if you didnt set your characters properly.

Dante is the mutherfuking man in this game! i hated this game when my brother bought it... but then i heard the awesome music and story before i knew it i was completely hooked! this is by far the best rpg ive played... dont get me wrong i love FF and star ocean.. but those games are for little kids compared to this... just buy it rofl

I do in a way. Meguro-san does better battle themes (the way he does it, it seems that he makes it actually seem like you're fighting someone fearsome like this and 'Fiend'). Masuko-san's is better for the atmosphere and dungeon-crawling experience. The two should work together
