The studio recording is much better. It's a shame their new album turned out the way it did. I hate it. Sounds so emo and boring.. nothing like the good linkin park.
Their new album was more of an experiment. They didn't change their sound or anything. My God, did you actually buy the album, and read what it said? They were breaking from their creative boundaries, if people liked what they did, they'd put that in their new album, but they still haven't switched styles. D:
I did in fact buy the album the week it came out. I did read it. But, I think experiments should be put under a side project, like what Mike did with Fort Minor. #2 on MtM was lame.. nothing compared to their old stuff, #3 was boring and emo, #4 was the second best, but still not up to my expectations from LP, #5 is 100% lame, suicidal, emo lamefest, #6 is way overrated, horribly simple, and boring, #7 is by far the best, but only because it sounds more like Fort Minor. Not enough room to finish
Dude, don't go bashing LP like that. Like hinatarox here said, it was more experimental. I actually enjoyed the album, ofcourse i agree their older music, but it was something different for a change. I respect LP for having the guts to do something radical like this and I think it turned out quite well.
