Dass die Musik genial ist, keiner zweifelt daran. Ich finde aber den Sänger als bester Sänger aller Zeiten überhaupt. So eine Musikalität und eine absolut pure Stimme habe ich noch nie gehört.

Alle Msuiker und Sänger sind wie aus dem Traum erschieen.

It was perfomed quite differently, zanily and cutting, by the Long Beach Opera in California, May 2009. Impact was startling, cruel, insane; this was thoughtful and moving like a religious ritual. Both work.
