Thanks for the info - got the keratin treatment done and just had my first hair wash - it's already kinking and has a ringlet at the back! it looks like when your hair was at the 2.5 month mark. while it is flatter I am wondering why it's like this - what shampoo did you use?

@natamalie the shampoo i used to wash my hair was the Organix sulfate & sodium free shampoo and conditioner u can get at any drug store..it HAS to be sulfate and sodium free or u will strip the treatment out, did u use that kind??

Hi i just got the brazilian keratin treatment done and i had a few questions

the lady that did my hair said that this treatment would soften my hair and make it straight without taking away the volume of my hair

but when i was finished my hair was really flat

the lady told me to wait 3 days before washing and that the volume in my hair would show up after the first wash

i was wondering if your hair came out flat as well the day you got it

and if the volume came back after your first wash?

@anetahn yes my hair was very very flat and straight when my aunt was done putting the treatment in, it needs to be that way in order for the treatment to take effect and work. Dont worry though, like your hair dresser said, as soon as you wash your hair, its going to be soft, shiny, voluminous but still keep a natural looking frizz-free wave/curl in your hair..its basically a relaxer, your going to lovee it!

WOW DID YOU AN AWESOME REVIEW, YOU NAILED ALL KEY POINTS, GOOD JOB. I JUST HAD THE KERATIN TREATMENT DONE ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO AND IM IN LOVE. SAME RESULTS AS YOU. THE BRAND THEY USED ON ME WAS CALLED COCO CHOCO NO BAD SMELL NO EYES BURNING I HAD NONE OF THAT EVEN WAS MY HAIR GOT FLAT IRONED, NO BAD SMELL. ACTUALLY IS SMELLED LIKE CHOCOLATE, ( honestly ) so yes i wold do it again, but this time i will it myself. i know where to buy it too cost about 180.00 for a 32 oz size . so worth the money,

@rosalia6119 aw thank you!!!!!! yeah this treatment is awesome for hair like ours..ill have to look into the brand u got done, ive looked up other treatments to buy n they are like $400!..make sure when u buy your treatment to see what the "shelf life" is so that u dont waste money on a product thats going to go bad after a certain amount of months, id suggest getting a smaller bottle..hows your treatment holding up???
