The costuming and armor look quite good. Obviously a great deal of prep. The "battle" was a bit diappointing: "I smack you, you smack me,... repeat". I don't know if there was supposed to be any "technique" involved with this, because there wasn't. Granted, I know you can only do so much without really hurting the other person too badly, but there is no way an actual battlefield conflict of the period looked like this.

As you prob notice by this video is that these people couldent care less about the historical prespective and are only after really hurting other human beings. In that way, and that way only are they a very exact image of the barbarians that lived back then. Playing metal in the backround, using excessive force when bringing down those hillebards, not using any formations or tactics as a group etc has nothing to do with reenactment :S
