But Im glad Lucas didnt do this for the movie. Because the storyline would make no sense. Because in episode 4, Obi-Wan shows Luke Anakin's lightsaber. "Your fathers lightsaber. This is the weapon of a Jedi Knight". And it resulted to being blue when Luke turned it on. So this edit would mess up the storyline if used

@MgoMSx Technically, Anakin is an official Sith Lord after Sidious declares him as Darth Vader leading up to this fight. So a red saber would've been appropriate.
Anakin could've lost the red saber, following up to Padme telling Obi-Wan "there's still good in him," giving him permission to go through Padme's residence to look for Anakin's blue saber, which will be given to Luke in Episode 4.
Listen to what Anakin's saying... The jedi are evil, because the emperor brain washed him, making out that the Jedi council were plotting to take over, he even said that Obi Wan was an enemy. Only his new power can save Padme from dying in Child birth yet again Sidious brain washed Anakin.
The moment Anakin became a Sith was when, AGAIN, Sidious brain washed him by telling him that he killed Padme in his anger. This would then give Anakin nothing to turn back on.
Well on Internet Movies database, it does say that the reason Sidious told Anakin he killed Padme. Was in fact to break his spirit. Thinking he killed her allowed his hate and rage to consume him. With nothing left, Anakin/Darth Vadar at this point would have no motivation and nothing left. Except stay and serve under the Emperor.
This is much more badass with Anakin using a red lightsaber. They should've had Palpatine give Anakin a red lightsaber, but he doesn't use it immediately, and only takes it out during the Mustafar Duel, then maybe have him lose it and finish the fight with his blue one.

Very good edit. I never understood why he didn't have a red lightsaber the moment Darth Sidious made him Darth Vader. I know Dark Jedi have different colored lightsabers but pretty much every Sith has a red lightsaber.

@Yabuturtle red crystals take time to make and are handcrafted synthetic made crystals where as the traditional blue/green ones are actual crystals from rocks. darth maul took like 3 days just to make his. its a sith pride thing that portreys their view as being superior to jedi in that they are so attuned to the force they can fabricate their own shtuffz

Also, Skywalker became Vader in a short amount of time, when he pledged himself and was dubbed the title; so, that being said, there wasn't enough time to construct a new one. Sidious had 'work' for Vader; since he was already accustomed to his own, self-constructed blue, he simply continued using it, for the time being.
