Also zombies are based on a real thing. Voodoo has rituals where a person is given puffer fish poison which damages and shuts down the entire brain for a period of time then "reboots" it. The person is then brain dead and taught how to do simple tasks.

The M-16 is unfairly judged for its beginnings in Vietnam. It was thrown into service without being fully tested. The Army also claimed it didn't need to be cleaned, which neither Colt or Eugene Stoner ever said, this lead to it not being issued with cleaning kits. There was also a last minute change in the powder used in the cartridges. Once they started issuing cleaning kits the problems mostly went away. It's not perfect but neither are AKs.
