See 1:38, he is doing an MCA on a very low base and final leg. He is using almost full power and pulling on wheel like panicky, then stalls it from 5 feet. MCA approaches are killers.
In 1998 an old but not too good local pilot stalled and got killed on his like new Cessna 172 just 400 feet from me. I was on the runup area waiting for him to finish playing with MCA and stalling speed on final, I told my student, then down he went. His wife and passengers serious injuries.
power power power, keep a little power and ALWAYS land smooth specialy with passengers or watch your air speed, you make the plane stalled by it self with ALL that amoung of trim, BESIDE THAT ITS AN HILLARIUS VIDEO
Pretty darn bad landing. Could I ask where this was, and if this was not for leisure? Just curious, because it would be interesting to know if there are non-aviation enthusiasts using small airstrips/aircraft to get to where they want to go.
Just a little fast and might have held that nose up after touch down, may have made it a bit softer by allowing the plane to slow down before the nose gear touched the carpet.
It seems to me like an older 172, it cannot be a 210 because it should have a propeller control, the one in the video is a fixed pitch prop, and the 210 is a much bigger plane too. Plus old 172's had the divider in the windshield too. I'd say it is a C-172!
And id say ur right, now that i watch the video again, i realise that there are wing struts, 210s dont have wing struts. My final guess is that its either a 172 or a 182. if you look up pictures of both from the 50's, they look the same as in the video

I love how the runway just becomes the taxiway to the hangars!

It's a much older model 172. Early 60s would be my guess just by panel layout of yoke design.
Where's the strip at? I have a private strip in north east Oregon.

Well, that's what he told me it was. It doesn't have the standard Cessna engine, but that all I know. What is it?

i cant really tell fro mthe video but by looking at the windows and the divider on the main windshield, im gonna guess its an older cessna 210?
