I'd just like to point out, however, that the G in the chorus looks like a regular G. i.e. 320033, as opposed to 320022, as you have written it (around 0:55 in).
I have checked my tuning several times. It doesn't seem like anyone else is having problems but it seems like everything is off a half step( G is F# etc) . Is this in my head? Please let me know.
Dude, I love this song, wanted to learn it and not only did I get to learn it, but I can say that you did it super justice with your rendition! Brother, you play and sing nicely! I enjoyed it very much! Thx man!
@bpaeffjay, hey friend, no worries.... I hadn't planned on putting my own version up, but I think I will. You have inspired me my friend! Thx again man and keep rockin'!
Not much to add... the previous comment says it all. Love your voice, and I really appreciate how you just played the song and added the visual tab. No need to get bogged down with the verbal instruction. Great, Great Job!
@Mustanghands Yes it is, I got soooo many requests from my earlier vid on this one that I felt compelled to do this. Glad you enjoyed and hope it helps...
@plgplgplg You were either the first to notice, or the first to call it. I realized after a few weeks of it being up, 'copy/paste' will get you everytime! Thanks for the kind words...
hey man this is great, nicely done. How do you get the mute on the chords Dad11/F#, EM, C, and G (in the opening)? I can't tell how exactly your doing it with your hands. Thanks!
@HeirOfJezuz I just let my fingers rest across the strings that aren't played. All you need is just to touch them. For example, I use my index finger on the A-string, but touch the E-string with the tip while also laying it across the D-string. The G-string is played open, and I use my ring finger to play the B-string and lay it across the e-string. Hope that helps, and thanks for the compliments...
@bpaeffjay haha i figured as much. i'll have to work on it then. I'm just getting a really sharp sound when trying to play, so it's something i just need to work on a bit more. thanks man
Great job!! and thank you very much for taking the time to add the instructions for palying this song in your video. Not too many people do that for others -- but you are the exception to the rule. Rock on -- you sound great!!! : )
Dayum you can sing, haha great cover bro imma try ask a girl to prom with this song, thanks a WHOLE lot!!!

Nicely done man. One mistake at 10 seconds though, you play the Dadd11 at the 5th with a 9/10 fret fingering (Dadd11/F#) shown in front.
Thanks for the clear tutorial though, you rock.
