I've always thought this music had a Disney quality, much like some of the melodies in "The Rescuers". Very appropriate for this animated movie.

POTO & HOND are very similar. They both have deformed people searching for love, the woman they love breaks their heart with another man they eventually marry, they live in France in solitude, and they are surrounded by music. Difference? POTO has a love triangle, HOND has a love square. Thanks Frollo.
