"Bach the greatest composer who ever lived." I can see the music flowing through you when you play, absolutely great!! I can tell you really love playing cello.
Nicely presented. Rich with energy and the fun of playing - like it should be in that age :) Yet. Wow ! You really seldomly here someone that ripe in that age ! Thumbs up for a long and good carreer ! ---- *bout the face: just be yourself. If they can love Cocker, Gabriel or Cobain, they'll at least accept you. My god, how sad it is to have to tell......

Not only are you awesome at what you do, but you are also very fascinating to watch when you do play, I think people enjoy watching someone who obviously has a passion for what they are doing, Such as you )
Wonderful performance. :) Cello is one of my favorite instruments. And now after watching this it seems its about time to start practicing on my violin for today. :D Bruch!
two more years and there will be no discussion about you talent and performances any more.one can clearly hear your character forming your personality,and its very nice to hear and see it.thanks!!! I liked your Bach!
You always interpret the music so well! The whole facial expression, and body movement is very normal, most people I know do the same, as do most professional musicians so BRAVO! :)
@brio2500 Most professional musicians do NOT preform histrionics while playing. most professional musicans cannot stand when they see people moving is such spastic movements.
@iWyke2 It is not tension you are observing. It is intensity and passion. All great orchestral musicians play with intensity/passion like this. If he just sat there and moved the bow back and forth, looking relaxed and bored, then the music would sound flat and boring with no expression.
Great!!! ...... When I look at the artist while singing, dancing or playing an instrument; to me, the expression of his face is a thermometer that measures the degree of passion involved in your art!
Awesome!!! People with real talent are a dying breed these days. before too long people like you will be some of the last few that actually know how to play a real instrument, not just push a bunch of damn buttons on some piece of shit sequencer.
@ubershredder1989 least important thing about playing. Especially since some of the greatest musicians of all time (Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai) made the strangest facial expressions while creating some of the most original and pretty much greatest music of all time
@goodygoody23 No. Rock is entirely different. There's an entire culture, centuries old, of formality surrounding classical music, and it should be respected. This fellow has a nice tone
@Vstrat0 bro, I wasn't comparing this to rock. I was saying that the facial expressions don't mean anything when you're making great music. But if you want me to compare this to rock, a lot of guitarist use the neoclassical style that string orchestra players use. Even some bands use whole symphonies, like Metallica, Symphony X, Jason Becker, and Dream Theater. So it's not like rock is trying to overshadow classical, since often it even incorporates classical. Best example is Jason Becker
@Vstrat0 Liszt used to tear up his music before beginning to play. Will Cook smashed violins. Paganini wore down his strings to show he could play through 3 of his 4 strings breaking during a performance. And Stephane makes faces and all of a sudden he's the most disrespectful classical musician ever to exist?

this suite is one of the most difficult works ever written for the cello and you nailed it perfectly and in a uber-original way.

that doesn't excuse anything. yes very good playing, but relaxation while playing is a key.
it will make playing even more effortless than it already is.
tension = bad

@benningtonc7 That's a huge leap from what I said.
I'd suggest a better example of neo-classical rock as early Ritchie Blackmore.
Vstrat0 11 months ago
@Vstrat0 I thinka better example would be Jason Becker, or Jeff Loomis.
