@rob06parish Honestly you're not going to see a huge difference between ddr2 and ddr3, unless you get into the higher Mhz 1600+. However, DDR3 ram is cheaper than DDR2, and they are phasing out DDR2. Taking those two things into account, I'd recommend DDR3. You're going to see the higher gains in FPS/graphics via your processor and Graphics card. So those two things are where you want to spend the most money.
Well hopefully your not playing World of Warcraft on that other wise waste of a computer World of Warcraft can almost run off a TRS-80 jokingly speaking of course... I have no clue why everyone buys Intel Processors for the price of one High-end Intel Processor you could buy almost 2 new AMD Processors.
@miracleguy123 Honestly, I sold it about a year and a half ago. But the good news is, I built one that runs better very similar to it. Same processor, similar mobo, half the ram, different graphics card, etc. The 920 is still the best bang per buck (overclocked), if you ask me.
The audio system kicks ass! You got the set-up on your hands! The only thing I might not agree with is the heatsink and graphics card. But other than that your system will haul some serious ass!
@skatepyro Yeah, its a great sound system, overkill for what I used it for. You also have to realize, I built this computer 2 years ago, and have since built a different computer. It was good in the day, but anything over a year old starts to become outdated in the hardware world.
@Antimanele104 lol now that's funny. There are a couple of videos I had to re-shoot due to seeing "ones" under garments ;). Feel blessed thats all you get to see lol.
I just built a gaming pc with 12Gb of Ram, 1TB hard drive, Intel core i7 950 processor, overclockable to 6Ghz, liquid cooling system, black an clear case with red neons

Nzxt Lexa blackline case. Corsair TX series 750W PSU. OS windows 7 64bit. does this match? And do you guys know a better cooler? 56,44 USD max :)
Hi Guys My Rig that i will buy: ASUS M4A89GTD Pro, Sockel AM3, ATX AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition CPU Revoltec PipeTower PRO CPU COOLER Sapphire HD 5850 1 GB GPU 4GB G-Skill Ripjaws PC3-12800U CL7 NZXT Lexa S Case XFX 650 Watt PSU Windows 7 64 Bit Is this a good gaming rig?
@mrdiamondback1 It sounds like a decent entry level gaming rig. Your weak point will be only having two cores on you processor, and the 450. It hasgood quality ram, just needs more of it, at least 4 gig. Vista and Windows 7 almost use one gig just for the OP resources. I'd also consider going with a second 450 in sli if you have the power supply to handle it.
@Ironwind1972 I will buy a cooler and I download windows 7. Will the power supply handle it ?? if a buy a cooler just one who takes in, or out what do u think out or in?
@Ironwind1972 The NVIDIA GTS 450 is about equivalent to the GTX 260. No way in hell it's an entry level gaming card. An entry gaming card would be a GT 220
@Acceptable76 I mentioned the computer was entry level, and the 450 was a weaker point for a good gaming rig. A OC'ed 460 struggles to run games on max, let alone a standard 450.
@Ironwind1972 Can I just ask what settings do you have the monitor on?
I just got it to play my PS3 on and I dont know where to start with adjusting settings. Colours are looking brilliant, but for me the picture isn't as smooth as I expected while playing my games...but others say that it's really smooth and nice.
Hi im building my first gaming pc any advise would be usefull Mobo - Asus rampage 2 extreme ATX-IX58-LGA1366 Case - Coolmaster HAF 932 CPU - intel core i7 930 2.8 GHz GPU - Sapphire Radeon HD 5970 2GB-GDDR5 SDRAM RAM - Corsair dominator 6GB;3x2GB memory - DIMM 240 - pin - 1600MHz Bluray- Samsung SH-b083L HDD- western digital caviar black 1TB internal hard drive-600mbps-7200rpm OS- windows 7 ultimate 1 PC Monitor- Asus vw266h any opinions?could this run crysis in max?
@ThePyroProduction Not always, sometimes you can find great deals on closeout computers already built. I'd prefer to build and spend several days shopping around for the best prices.
@GaMiNgHeReTic I dont. It's purely a hobby of mine. Matter of fact my brother bought an older build I did 5 or 6 years ago, and it went out on him. I rebuilt it this weekend with the older parts and overclocked it. It runs pretty well actually. It's only a 3800 939 socket but I have it stable at 2.6 ghz. I'm running two BFG 7900 GTX's. I get about 70 average fps on titan quest with everything on the highest settings.
@2222vaginaman I like it better personally. Their website is more user friendly with info and ratings. Also from my own experience, they have better prices.
The Antec 1200 is a generic case, but it's good for people that are starting with modding. Because there are sow much buildlogs out there to take some lessons from.
lol, man i wish i could build my own pc :( im relly relly trying to buy a pritty good gameng pc that isnt to expensive iv been overrerd a dell optiplex 755 but i dont relly know if it is good or not could you help me?
@AdamWestable Absolutely, I've spent thousands there over the years. If you take your time and do the math, you can save money with their combo's. Happy building.
hey man nice vid im just wandering how mutch was all this total i might wanna do what ur doing and just build a computer then buying one arent they more exspensive to go in and buy one ?
@FatKidsCanFly2 Alot of people ask me how much it cost to build this. For the hardware, mouse, monitor etc, it was right around 2500 dollars a year and a half ago. Hope this helps all.
dude i worship your sistem but why did you go head and buy antec 1200, should of gone with with haf 932 plus it gives you option for 3by 120mm radiator
Great setup.. The only thing that angers me about people puting these up, no offense to you, is when they put an intel processor inside instead of AMD. Its been proven that AMD at 4x is equal or better than intel's Core i7. Nice stuff, though.
Dude, I love how you went all out. Even to the point of speakers and a new computer chair. I just love hwo you bought everything you would ever need all at the exact same time on the exact same order lol. That must have been like over $2500
i think for going for this need some tip 1ST bulid with new part Cooler Master - Elite 310 Case w/ Window Intel - Core™2 Quad Processor Q8200 2.33GHz w/ 4MB Cache Asus - P5G41-M LE w/ DualDDR2 800, Video, Audio, Gigabit Lan, PCI-E x16 Mushkin - EM2-6400 Enhanced DDR2 SDRAM, 4GB Dual Pack Seagate - 1TB Barracuda 7200.12 SATA II w/ 32MB Cache LG - Super-Multi 22x DVD Writer, SATA, Black ANTEC - EarthWatts 430W Power Supply
U dnt need 12gb ram,.,.WTF 8 at the most. That will ruin the duel channeling and make it worse. I would go with a 1000gb hard drive. Nice gfx card and nice processor.
Windows Veesta
Haha, I always thought it was pronounced Vista but potato potato.

is it much cheaper to build than to buy?
ThePyroProduction 1 year ago
@ThePyroProduction Not always, sometimes you can find great deals on closeout computers already built. I'd prefer to build and spend several days shopping around for the best prices.
Ironwind1972 1 year ago
do you build a new everyear dude?
GaMiNgHeReTic 1 year ago
@GaMiNgHeReTic I dont. It's purely a hobby of mine. Matter of fact my brother bought an older build I did 5 or 6 years ago, and it went out on him. I rebuilt it this weekend with the older parts and overclocked it. It runs pretty well actually. It's only a 3800 939 socket but I have it stable at 2.6 ghz. I'm running two BFG 7900 GTX's. I get about 70 average fps on titan quest with everything on the highest settings.
Ironwind1972 1 year ago
Is new egg better or worse than tiger direct both seem fairly cheap just wanted to know which sports better customer service or prices.
2222vaginaman 1 year ago
@2222vaginaman I like it better personally. Their website is more user friendly with info and ratings. Also from my own experience, they have better prices.

The Antec 1200 is a generic case, but it's good for people that are starting with modding. Because there are sow much buildlogs out there to take some lessons from.
It's easy if u look at them all.

@AdamWestable Absolutely, I've spent thousands there over the years. If you take your time and do the math, you can save money with their combo's. Happy building.

you have windows 7 now right?
p8intballkid 1 year ago
Great setup.. The only thing that angers me about people puting these up, no offense to you, is when they put an intel processor inside instead of AMD. Its been proven that AMD at 4x is equal or better than intel's Core i7. Nice stuff, though.
