@godlikeMuGeN1 Seriously no one has answered this question yet? The part he plays at :43 is not e-minor pentatonic, although the rest of the solo sounds like it. The part at 43 seconds is the E natural minor scale, not e minor pentatonic. The e minor scale contains the same notes as the G major scale.

I can't believe there are some people so clueless they think Zakk is a "Shred" guitarist. I'm not a huge fan of Zakk and his chronic, annoying abuse of the wah-pinch-harmonic thing but he's not a bad, tasteless guitarist either and he has written some pretty tasty riffs and leads in his career. I guess anything that approaches 16th notes and doesn't fall into the category of drunken hill-billy pre-80's blues guitar is shred and should be hated on.
