I watched this whole movie. It doesn't look like a hollywood movie. But how about the Incredible bastards?That is the wurst holiwood movie ever. Only scene one and scene two are good.The rest suck.

This movie is much better. Based on true story.This tells about real brotherhood. Most movies you dont see it. Only kill and kill.They aren't even family.

This movie tells the soldiers are relatives to each orher. Even far counsins are close in war.This is the only family you got until war is over

The film is absolutely awesome & very moving. Heavily based on real life characters & most definately based on true events of WW2. The most decorated combat unit in the entire history of the US army. The soundtrack just finishes it off a treat. Absolutely brilliant.

I got the DVD. Its not a bad movie. Its also not great neither. Its basically a combination of routine combat scenes, Asian Soldiers speaking barely intelligible Hawaiian style English while on break and brief scenes of the Soldiers at home on the eve of joining the military. I doubt I'll watch it much any more.

@300Spartans sorry you don't think the movie was that good, but your critic sounds like you missed the story line completely. I really like this movie, but I'm bias my Dad worked at Pearl Harbor in 1941, after the attack they marched him out under armed guard, like the character in the move getting fired. Even after that, he still felt it was his duty as an American to join the Army. I got to meet some of the real guys, their story is a bit more than your basic routine war movie.
