Hmmm. Infinte isn't the only good album that Eminem ever made. I hate when people say that. Its cliche and stubborn to think. Check out his underground harcore raps from 97-99....(not his censored mainstream songs) "Nothing to Do" ft. Royce da 5'9, Biterphobia, Fuck the Law Freestyle, Demon Inside,...ect...
thats some shity lyrical ryming jiggalo and juggalo that the best u got. MAINSTREAM KIDS HOW CAN U LISTEN TO THIS SOLD OUT CONFORMIST ASSHOLE? HE MAKES MILLIONS OF DOLLARS EACH YEAR THAT HE DONT BRING BACK TO THE FUCKIN PEOPLE YET U STILL BY HIS SHIT WTF?

@youurstruuly eminem is a joke, he wanted to be juggalo rapper, but violent j said no to his release party because he put icp's name on his flyer without asking.
How tha hell could someone like Infinite over everything he's came out with since? Infinite was barely personal, barely humorous compared to what hes came out with then. I swear ppl just say shit just to say it if everyone really supported underground hip hop and claimed 2 b the big joe budden nas fans they think they r those guys would sell a lot more then they have. some ppl just love 2 hate.
lol are you fucking serious. the "Infinite album" was Eminem in his prime. i dont think he will spit anything as lyrical as infinite ever again. money takes over talent. but hes still the best mainstream rapper.
@MANUGIN808 God, I'm sick of this constant worshipping of the underground. Whenever any musical act gains the slightest bit of commercial, all of these assholes come out of the woodwork talking about how their old stuff was better. Honestly, Infinite was pretty good, but that's all it was, pretty good. The lyrics were sincere and Eminem displayed some decent lyricism, but overall the album was dull, boring, and uncreative. SSLP is far superior.
@jaydogg7253 "decent lyricism" lol. are u fucking serious. im guessing u dont understand REAL lyricism. and u probably think it was "dull and boring" because your used to listening to stupid songs like "as the world keeps turning" and "my fault" u fuckin fagot. infinite is way more lyrical than SSLP.
@MANUGIN808 It would be impossible for Eminem to do another Infinite album. Em raps about what he's currently going through, and he's clearly not living the same life he was living back then.
@MANUGIN808 well em said during infinite it was just about throwin words in a row or summin like that... his technique and rhyme schemes definitly developed during the years
@jmk0309 yea i know he just came back, but his new album wasnt even that great. i mean at least it was better than "Relapse". but it still doesnt fuck with "infinite" or "The Eminem Show". it seems like the only time he actually tries hard now days is when hes being featured on somebody elses song. such as "Forever" by Drake, "Drop the World" by Lil Wayne, "Airplanes 2" by B.O.B and so on. but when it comes to his own shit, it seems like hes to lazy write quality raps like back in the old days.
@MANUGIN808 shut the fuck up with that shit... dont get me wrong eminem on infinite was amazing... but to try and say that he's better on that than he is on mmlp and sslp let alone the eminem show is proposterous... songs like infinite and its ok are great but they can't hold a candle to songs like stan, the way i am, LOSE YOURSELF... all those songs are classic.. i even would go to say that the bad meets evil mixtape is more ill than infinite... check it bitch
@JORGEesCOOLIO well im mostly talking about "lyricism". you know like multi-syllable rhymes, wordplay/metaphores, punchlines, and shit like that. but you probably dont know anything about that cause your a fuckin retard. but dont get me wrong. i REALLY like The Eminem Show. he really shows his lyrical talent on that album. but as for SSLP and MMLP, lyrically they aint as good as Infinite. and the songs you named are classics no doubt. Lose Yourself has real strong lyricism. that song is dope.
@MANUGIN808 Why do you assume that the reason he's not as good as before is because of money? He isn't 50 cent who isn' trying anymore. No one stays in there prime forever.
yh i agree tht MMLP nd SSLP were possibly there greatest albums of all time but wot ppl need 2 realise is albums like relapse are hot. i mean in relapse lyrically we see the old eminem. songs like stay wide awake he goes "as soon as my flow starts i compose art like the ghost of mozart" really no one is makin music like eminem. also listen 2 the warning, forever, beautiful, underground,my mom, 3am u cnt say hes lost it.

Correct.Slim Shady and Marshall Mathers are good albums, the rest are crap. Then he started making pop music with raps on them. All his tracks after Marshall Mathers are weak apart Off the Wall featuring Redman, his feature on Renegades by Jay Z. Lose Yourself and most recently his verse on the Drake song Forever. The Slim Shady LP and Marshall Mathers are good albums, but most of the rest is for pre-teen girls who don't love Hip-Hop, they love Em.
All you said was just stupid. Yes, Slim Shady and Marshal Mathers LPs were his highest rated albums, however, if you would listen to his new shit, he makes perfect points, within years after his albums come out they never go big, then after a few years, people hear all this other lame shit from other artists who are just shitty, then they realize how good Em's stuff is, then it becomes big. Watch, it happened with those two LPs, it will with his more recent albums. He writes his heart out...V
Which is one thing a lot of these newer artists fail to do...take Lil Wayne for example...GREAT artist, and very famous, however, do you not notice the same raps and lines commonly used over and over again...hes running out of material and can't write fresh legit shit...Eminem has somehow managed to do it for YEARS ON END! If you read up on his bios you'd also realize how far he's come and gone through...not 8 Mile...i mean go in depth, and read about him, then Weezy...you'll realize like I did.

0:45 ... Did he seriously just diss the psychopathic community again? Fuck man, Insane Clown Posse ain't puttin' his name in their mouths any more other than to say they don't care, and he wants to keep carrying on. I hope one day he grows up.
claim respect? and what kanye west and lil wayne have more? if anything eminem should have the most respect in the hip hop world. who are you to say he dosn't? and less singing? the only track he partially sings on relapse is buetiful, when the fuck does he sing on the tracks stay wide awake, old times sake, must be the ganja, same song and dance, my mom, there all fuckin awesome dre beats with eminem as the acclaimed rapper, how the fuck could you ask for anymore, you pretencious prick.
ok allow me to rephrase myself to prevent further flamings from eminems male groupies.
If eminem did more joints like this one, he would regain the respect from people like me who liked infinite, slim shady and the marshall mathers lp, that have been disappointed in his shit that came out after that.
I´m not saying eminem is bad in any way, its just that it was a long time since he made the type of music that made me like him in the beginning.
you have to understand that there are people who, unlike yourself, listen to a wider range of hip hop, and not only to the disco crunk shit you see on TV. and in front of those people, I´M the dude who always has to defend eminem, and for alot of years that hasnt been an easy task.
That is a truly idiotic statement to make... Reclaim respect he once had?
Any true hiphop head doesn't need to re-repsect Eminem, they already know what he's capable of, EVERY hiphop head knows that people have their prime and then they have their aftertime, this is that. He's already proven to be a GOAT, he doesn't need to gain anyones respect.
Some dope lines, some not so dope lines. overall not his best track but for flow and beat I like it, if only he'd of put more effort in the lyricism and made the track longer then I think this'd be a pretty cool song. Like it says a few comments down, this track sounds half-assed and i also agree with the "drop bombs like saddam" line is pretty weak for Eminem. Since Em usually has a lot better wordplay than that.

This is the only Em feature / track for someone else I've heard that isn't mind-blowing.
Lyricism and flow are both good but for some reason it just sounds half-assed.
Especially the drop bombs like saddam line, that line is so cliche n overused.
Still, pretty good song just expected more.

T.I. f/Em - Touchdown?
bwsNJD 2 years ago
Hmmm...
Yeah, that's not mind blowing but his verse on it still had that little Eminem *sparkle*
It's nothing special but still had charm.
This does too but the fact he's sobar and focused now... I expected more.
magicbibledotcom 2 years ago
Hmmm... Yeah.
That was in 2007 though, he was still fucked then and had writers block.
Also, it still had charm.
He's sober and focused now, I just expected something more.

What about Touchdown with T.I.? Eminem himself admitted it sucked. lol
drrapid 2 years ago
True, he said he hated his verse on it.
That was in 07 though when he had writers block.
Also, I still think it had that Em "spark" which this doesn't quite have. I don't know why though.
