Every soldier ever to fight is a hero. Except for Hitler who used his power to nearly out Jews and their beliefs to extinction! He killed babies, kids, women and men alike. The Taliban now don't give a shit 'bout the depression their causing. Killing innocent men and women. Bastards.
You do the same drill as the British army, you also look smart when you are on parade. Long way up short way down, not a flick of the wrist like the rednecks do. I am with you guys, you have my respect for the job you do, May your God go with you, good luck and return home safe.
Each and every soldier that dies for his/her country is a hero reguardless of nationality, idioligy or ethanic background. Every soldier is an honorable individual because he/she is fighting to keep us safe. You should respect every single one of the. Why? Because they fought and died for what they believed in and such a sacrifice should be rememebered and honored forever.
My father was posted from Cold Lake to CFB Trenton and we lived there from 1993 until 2008 (he passed away from cancer) but anytime these funerals happened and I drove by, I used to cry really badly. Anytime I drive on the Highway of Heroes, I cry badly. Military life is hard but is an honour. Very great video, definitely brought a tear to my eye.
@Rahkayelle Thank you. This video is especially emotional for me. My mother lost her battle with cancer while I was making this so to me, it is also a tribute to her. It doesn't matter how many times I watch it, I tear up every time.
As a citizen of both Canada and the US, I want to thank you. Thank you to all those who died in order to keep my countries safe. We are eternally in your debt. God bless Canada. God bless the USA.
@deadlybluntblazer.... Really does your blessing include the troops from Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, USSR, North Korea, Red China, etc. They all fell for their countries too. THOSE WHO DIED FOR FREEDOM deserve the honors and our respect.
Yes even those countries deserve respect for their fallen. For they too were sons, husbands, cousins, and brothers. Fighting to the death for what they believed in.
The Soldiers of imperial Japan, Nazi Germany the Khmer Rouge , General Sherman you name it, when ordered or just allowed to torture, rape and murder innocent women and children by the tens of thousands went ahead and did those atrocities. They forfeited their right to any honor later when killed by their enemies or as returning heros. They dishonored themselves as soldiers and as human beings.
So you would allow the (Well deserved) hatered for a few, to cloud your respect for the fighting men in general?
Yes, hate the people who tortured and killed innocents, as well as those who ordered it... But don't forget that the vast majority of those armies were conscripts... Fighting because if they didn't, they'd be shot
If you support the troops, then you support the killing of thousand of innocent civilians and an evil dictatorship that places no value on human life.
Instead of supporting a a treasonous government, support an end to war and the safe return of the soldiers. That is the only way terrorism will end and peace can begin. It's time to wake up to the cold, hard truth of why our soldiers are dying in vain.

It brakes my heart when i see those soldier carring their dead CAMARADA and crying AT THE SAME TIME.THEY KNOW IT COULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF THEM,but they still love that fallen soldier EVEN IF HE is not with us anymore
Dear Canada. I just wanted to say thank you. I landed in Gander on 9/11 and I have never been treated better. And you stood with us without us even having to ask. I swear that we're trying to do better. May God bless the maple leaf and your fallen heros. Love, a thankful American.
The beauty of being friends, is never having to say thank you. We're far from perfect, but we do what we can. I'm pleased you were treated well. Regards
I watched the repatriation ceremony on CPAC last night and when I saw those children trying to be so strong when their Dad's casket was lowered from the plane I lost it. I am so impressed by how the military handled them care and kindness when they started to cry. One looked so bewildered, I just wanted to hug him and hold him in my arms. God Bless The Fallen. May the families be comforted.

My thoughts are with the families and friends who grieve for the fallen. 3 on December 5, 2008 based out of CFB Petawawa. 3 more on December 13, 2008 based out of CFB Gagetown. God Bless the memory of all soldiers who gave EVERYTHING so that we can be free. THANK YOU is not enough!! We owe you so much. God Bless those who continue to serve. I love you all!!!
God Bless Our Troops. May we NEVER take them for granted!
I salute my uncle who served in the Canadian Armed forces for 30 years and ALL men and women who have served and are currently serving so that we can live in a free society.
the USA should do the same for all their VETS!!!!!! for so many donot care or do not know what it takes to give your all for someone or something other than themselves

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

We do, look to the Patriot Guard Riders and Gathering of Eagles, its just that the press won't film it. It doesn't fit their agenda.
It is important that we protect our vets and honored dead here at home as there are those who would dishonor them.
