  • James played a bad dude in this critically acclaimed Sam Peckinpah directed western.I remember vaguely he was part of a gang which included Warren Oates and they were tormenting Marriette Hartley in a scene.Ironically this was the same here (1962 ) when he signed up for the title role of the Virginian.
