Russell had the better year in 2008 (by way of actually getting playing time) where as Quinn had the infinitly better year last year. He was on the Cleveland Browns. Not even Colt McCoy's recent success could lead them the Playoffs. If he gets a chance to play on a team who isn't sporting a hard on for Tim Tebow then I think he would get a shot to start.

@bjchit ummm... im not trying to insult u by this at all but are you a norte dame fan?? in 4 seasons he has 8 touchdowns and 7 interceptions with 1,339 yards... he was a first round draft pick... u can not blame the team for that... lets look at someone drafted in the same year... jamarcus russel has 18 touchdowns and 23 interceptions with over 4,083 yards... and jamarcus had probly the worst team in the NFL around him... brady quinn is a bust...

3 seasons, and those were his numbers last year. I can blame the team who doesn't draft anybody or sign anybody to help him in his time there, won't play him to keep him from getting bonus incentives, and has a terrible coach who doesn't learn anything or make adjustments.

No he wasn't. He was on a much better team both years they had signifigant playing time. Russell had the better year in 2008 (by way of actually getting playing time) where as Quinn had the infinitly better year last year. Orton is most likely starting, then Quinn well once Orton inevitibly starts stinking up the joint.

@bjchit umm... the raiders are probly the second worst team in teh NFL at the moment...the only reason why they had 5 wins was because bruce achually did pretty good....
personally i think quin is gonna be a 3rd stringer from now on... they will not but tim tebow will be second string and orton will start... personally... i think quinns career is done unless tebow uterally fails(which is VERY possible achually)

The Raiders were much better than the Browns in 2008, and still were better then them this last year with a 5-11 record. That's incrediblly pessimesstic for a guy who's barely played in his first 3 years in the leauge, and will be a second stringer at worst this year. The Browns are a terrible team and they may get better with Mike Holmegran, but that's a big if.
