problem is Johnson is not principled and bold, like ron paul tells he wants to end all wars,, but Johnson says he will cut military by 40%, but he wont tell pull out of Iraq totally.. for stuff like this, u either occupy a country, or u leave them alone, tinkering with he numbers is irrelevant.. Also he is for civil liberties.. except he wants to continue Guantanamo.. He has to be principled especially when the now cons seems to be in a competition to out ron paul.. ron paul
It's because if Ron Paul is the only one saying these things, everyone can dismiss him as a lone kook. But if there's a second voice saying these things, they can't be dismissed by the other flash-in-the-pan voices.
@anphernie It's possible. If you saw the Google debate, at least I thought it was the google debate, there was a question for all the candidates, and that was who would you pick as your VP nominee, or at least an idea of who you maybe would consider as a nominee. And Johnson had mentioned Ron Paul, so there's a chance that the two have talked about that being a possible ticket. At least I hope so, because they both share pretty much the same political ideology.
Yes, I saw that. Such a match has much to recommend it. I have a good feeling about Johnson. Behind that affable facade, I detect a man of strong principle
@VoteRonPaul12 Yea Gary said he would choose the guy 4 podiums down because "He believes liberty is still the most important issue." Ron didn't give any hint's but I'm sure if he could he would have said Gary of all the people on stage.
Democrats and Republicans like to keep politicians in nice, neat little boxes, so they can take turns operating the military/war/banking machine. Ron Paul is a financial conservative and social liberal who doesn't fit the box--so they demean him, ignore him. THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX! THE LIVE AND LET LIVE PRESIDENT who can STOP THE WARS and use that money to support the needy! Ron Paul 2012 can win! For LESS government, not MORE! /watch?v=wM-QpVSjsLY
I totally agree, I do prefer Ron Paul, but Gary Johnson is better than the other candidates as well. I like him a lot from what I've seen of him, I just need to do more research on him in order to make sure his actions backs his speeches. Johnson is being snubbed out by the Republicans just like Ron Paul was in 2008.
