When it's in motion, you only see each PARTICULAR contortion for literally fractions of a second, and it's not the contortions themselves, it's the mind-breaking TRANSITIONS between them that are so scary. This is probably what the animators were going for.

This reminds me of Unsolved Mysteries, and the first arc of higurashi. But if you think about it, the first arc WAS an unsolved mystery.

We all thought we'd find out what was going on, but Keichi died leaving so many unanswered questions. Whatever was going on....it could have been anything.

You know what I call AWESOME cinematography? When you can fix up an incredibly stupid logical mistake and make it seem epic.

Remember the ending? The rails are very high. According to other people (myself I have only read two arcs for now) they weren't there in the visual novel. So the ending made sense.

In the anime, how did Satoko push Keiichi off the bridge? Answer: THROUGH the rails. Look closely at that scene.

The cinematography covers it perfectly. Awesome camera angles are awesome.
