@croscream I haven't demonized anyone, I only showed that his argument is NOT specific to Islam and can be extended to almost any religion (except perhaps Buddhism since I don't have much info in that area). Christianity is not more peaceful than Buddhism by any stretch of the imagination. See Inquisition. Some christians went AGAINST their scriptures to end slavery. The bible ENDORSES slavery, however xtians are not a single entity with one unified mind. The bible is garbage, all xtians aren't.

I don't personally think that the ''No True Scotsman Fallacy'' is true in this case, or logical because the definition of a Scotsman would imply suggesting an aspect of the supossed Scotman that contradict the DEFINITION of a Scotsman.
Claiming that all Scotsman must have ties to Scotland, either by living there, or having ancestors there, can not be contradicted by someone who claims to be a Scotman but isn't born in Scotland or has direct ties to Scotland.

I understand Islam is viewed as the most violent religious threat, but to think that this represents all adherents to the religion is faulty. Yes, the Koran is full of horrible things (as is the Bible), but the adherents are not one monolitihic death cult. We have a constitution which prevents theocracy.
