That reminds me, Layton apparently has some female bodyguard-type person in a few of his games; lost all interest again, women are weaker than men and THOSE JAPS NEED TO REALIZE THIS SHIT

I wouldn't have "noticed" that she's his assistant because I haven't played the game, she comes off as a bodyguard to the group every time I read something about her or see her in videos. She's the muscle of the group, and that's retarded. Being skilled with martial arts does not mean that you have great combat skill, either, she's weak and small; her skillz are unrealistic

Well, in the subbed video of the other trailer of this game, it says right there 'Assistant'.

And why cant Emmy be good at martial arts? There's a lot of women who have taken karate or something related. To think of that as unrealistic is kind of close-minded.

And its not like Emmy is a prominent character. Sure, she appears on this game and the next one, but she didn't appear on the previous three games, and not all women in this series are like that. Flora is an example.

Still, do give the series a chance, if you haven't done so. The first trilogy has nothing of the things that seem to bother you, so I'm almost 100% you'll enjoy them.

Emmy's character has not fully been revealed and there is more for fans to find out about her. I'm sure you know the rule about assuming… Play Last Specter this October/November, and tell me if you still think this a "poorly managed" game.

I mean, There are a lot of speculations and rumours about the mask of miracle (PL5) Which will come to the 3ds probably next year.

So will this game be released before the mask of miracle or after it? or maybe not released at all? And is it for the ds or 3ds?

@7TvS7 Probably it will be released next year. The Mask of Miracle will be released for 3DS this Spring in Japan. You can find a trailer for it on my account subbed. Presumably it will be released before, but I dont know anything about the next game for fans of the series. And this game is for the Nintendo DS.

I think the Specter is an illusion (I can´t explain how this is achieved) but I think why everything is destroyed is because there´s many earthquakes on the zone. I don´t think this could be true, but it´s just a hypothesis

So, this mystery is at first glance impossible, but I´m sure that later in the game reveals something, like, I dunno, that the guy (reminds of me of the Rich Texan) in 1:56 is very powerful. In short, I don´t know this cause but looks like this mystery is more tricky than the two first games.

game 3: folsense is "false sense" and everything was just an illusion

But, I developed a new theory (I think it´s better than the previous one). I noticed that the town is filled with many rivers and canals. And the trailer shows how dangerous was the water. The Specter is black and always shows at night. So, I think the Specter (rather, it´s illusion) is made of Water. That maybe explains why it´s attacking zones with light!

Yes, when you complete the story mode of Specter's Flute, you unlock it.... It is very similar to MOTHER 3. The game is very fun! And in the next Layton game, Mask of Miracles, there will also be a bonus game at the end, I am not sure if it will be another RPG.
