  • Oh no, I'm so sorry for your loss. I played this video constantly for my first budgie, hoping that she would learn to make these sounds. I've since gotten her a little friend, so I haven't played this in a while. Thank you so much for keeping this video up. That was one special budgie!

  • I want my budgies to learn to make these sounds. So cute!

  • by budige makes those same noises sooo cute :) He's in the process of learning how to say his name lol

  • that is cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • your lucky my budgie hates mirrors.

  • So cute and rare colours!! :) Check my video out (Cute budgie tries to sing!)

  • i have a budgie that same color it bit me when grab it

  • omgoodnes, i LOVE your parakeet that is sssssssssssssoooooooooo cute and gave me a good laugh. I can't wait to get my new budgie in a few months.

  • my budgie does that a lot!!!

  • XD Our birds could be twins mine has a voice pretty close but instead of talk to her reflection she talks to chair legs XDDDDD

  • @0PeaceLovePanda0

It is because every budgie (and general parrots and animals) have their own characters just like people. That's why almost every budgie sounds different or has some sounds he owns and are completely different from other budgies. I am sure your budgie makes sounds that cannot be done from others :) Thank you for watching!

  • this is so sweet!

i miss my budgie.. she passed away last year, and was exactly this color..

she left me with memorable moments and is still missed

  • @shubhamkasera

I'm so sorry for that :(

I really understand how you feel when you lose a buddy like this...

  • @shubhamkasera

I'm sorry for your loss as well I too just lost my Parakeet of 6.5 years the other day. :(

I don't know if I should get her companion a new friend or not.

  • the same mine :D but yours has a special singing.aww cute

  • if you have a single bird u have to give it plenty of attention- but that IS enough.

  • so sweet<3

  • He sings in front of the mirror because most animals, including budgies, do not understand that it is a reflection of themselves. He thinks he sees another budgie :S awee

  • I have a parakeet that does that but with out a mirror

He just does it to the stick or to another parakeet

  • xD OMG.... this vid. makes by Budgie go crazy whenever she hears it xD

  • So cute! Reminds me on mine when I was a kid.

  • None of my budgys make sounds like this. They even dont make any sound...

  • I dont think ive ever heard a budgie make this sound before

  • hahah funny my old parakeet would make the cockatiel chirp aswell. cute.

  • Haha Nice Video Budgies Love Mirrors

  • My budgies give your video 5 stars! They LOVE this one.

  • that budgie sounds alot different than mine. is it a baby

  • I don't think is a baby.I don't know how old is he but he is the same with many budgies I have seen. It's logical that he will sound different because every budgie is unique :)

  • LOL i guess so. yeah i have 4 budgies and they all sound the same. U can check the ages sometims by the ring around thier eye. if they have no ring they are under four months. light grey eyes are over four months and dark grey rings are over 8 months. I read it on some page aha

  • @diomidios

That is a young baby budgie.

There are still stripes across his forehead ( BABY BARS )

is what it is called :D

  • @diomidios umm i think it is under 4 month of age since it has strpipes all the way down to the cere. so its a baby

  • my budgie thats 3 months loves the mirror he jumps up and down and doesnt let my cockatiel near it

  • Generally, budgies are very social creatures and when you get a single budgie, it will generally attach itself to its mirror image and to the family it lives with. but, very cute video.

  • is he lonely? they love attention

  • This is a great video! I brought home a new budgie and it wouldn't sing or eat, I played this video and it sang/chirped for the first time! thanks!!!!

  • woow, he is very cute <´3

  • The images we see in the mirror are the pure incarnates of evil. They are only allowed to exist in the area reflected in the glass. To them, life is like a neverending hell, rotting away in the same room day after day. The only release from this purgatory is death, and the only way for them to die, sad to say, is if YOU die.

  • he is alone, that why he sings in front of the mirrow, very sad.

  • I am afraid if I bring him a female budgie that they may not be good together and die..That's why he is alone. But we love him so much,we play with him-we get him out of his cage.Isn't that enough?

  • @diomidios

You can always get him a male.

    they would be good friends.

  • @diomidios

If u ever plan on bringing another bird make sure the birds are in seperate cages to prevent any deaths. Leave them side-by side and take them both out to play together. Observe their behaviors closely and see if they get along within a week.

I did this to mine when i brought a younger one and they are getting along fine now :)

  • @diomidios

If it doesn't work, than your bird may prefer to be alone or their personalities don't match up, so u may have to get another bird. Take your time and try to seek the better companion/friend for your budgie.

  • Very very very funny! I hope so you don't make the same things! lol :D

  • Hello, this budgie should have a real bird-friend!

  • It is :D

And i have it only for one month
