There was a barn, there was a barn, there was a barn, there was a barn, there was a barn, there was a barn, OH MY GOSH, I GET IT! IT'S A FREAKIN' BARN!!!!!
did you mention a hill or a farm or a barn or a stall or a cow or milk where the green grass grew all around, all around, where the green grass grew all around?
This is the first time I've ever seen Jimmy playing a really good Martin tenor guitar, instead of his usual Mickey Mouse guitar. Tenor (four-string) guitars are now pretty rare, but in the late 50s and early 60s they were still common among folkies. Nick Reynolds of the Kingston Trio also played one.
A couple of mistakes in this cute clip: The picture of the milk that Roy draws is different from the one shown a bit later, and Karen's glass of milk is obviously fake, because she tips it above her head without making it spill.
Roy Williams was a fantastic talent- he could sketch and create stories like crazy! He worked for Disney for almost 30 years, and continued to appear at Disneyland, drawing for kids and his fans up until his death in 1976.

@Watchmedoaflip1 - Barney didn't steal it. This is a traditional song. I learned it in summer camp way before Barney.

Is it just me, or does the record player stick whenever they introduce a new item?
I guess they're just giving Roy time to draw...

Wow I loved this. They just don't make shows like they used to. I had to say it again. Thank you for posting.
