Thank you for your question. While we don't have the male persuasion represented in the abdominoplasty category, we are happy to discuss this further with you. The massive weight loss male patient is likely to have this surgery, but the man with thickness around the waist will usually opt for a more conservative approach such as abdominal liposuction. We have photos of all male surgeries including those for massive weight loss as well as simple liposuction.
I know most Doctors say you can go back to work in 3 weeks, but what if your job is walking all day, including hills, and bending/squatting (I read electric and water meters)?
Many patients can return to work at 10 to 14 days when they have less demanding tasks; with attention to avoidance of heavy aerobic activity for about 4 to 6 weeks. Light stretching and toning is okay after the first week. Vitamins and supplements are best taken up to 2 weeks before surgery, and resumed when up and around about 5 days after surgery. Some specialists recommend vitamins during the entire course. I permit showering on day 1 or 2 after operation, and this helps considerably.
You will see the overall improvement immediately on day 1-2 with some intervening swelling, thickening, and hardening, which then begins to subside at 3-6 weeks and optimal improvement during the year. The high tension tucks with some lipo added give the tightest results
absolutley amazing transformation for the lady in the video.

this leaves a very noticable line. although guess it's better than sagging skin..

Is the scar going to stay like that? Can that be removed later?
