when was this blast?? i've heard that u.s. military/government have bombed the lunar surface due to there being unexplainable anomolies there that they don't want us knowing about.
the 3 "ufos" are blast debris however methinks, the bit that goes off by itself lands back on the surface, tumbles and in doing so, scars it.
I was not able to find any reference to an impact on crater tycho recently. Unless this movie isn't 150 million years old, its just another cgi work. You are right to doubt it.
