I build it to specification thankyou, I just didnt build the cockpit as it was a school project and I had a deadline. It it very structurally sound and still works great.
It wasnt that challenging to make, but it took about 200 hours, but that is because I did it over the winter and had to wait a long time for the epoxy and fiberglass to harden. Total cost was approx $1000

I'll create something like a car bodey for my hovercraft which weighs up to 70 lbs. That's why I asked for the engine. Mine will be a 13hp (I don't find a stronger one). Hope it'll work.
Make sure what you build doesnt cut off air to the propeller. The duct and air flow are extremely critical. And remember, the more weight, the slower it will go. I weigh 140 and my dad weighs like 160 and there is a noticeable difference in speed and control. Good luck
I have a question , and have been wondering really, it easts my mind how you control a hovercraft with only one engine.
forexample, say you start the engine, its idleling, is the cushion inflated ? does the craft go forward?, i bet when you sit down you have to increase throttle but wouldnt the craft go forward, what i mean is as you increase throttle, the craft gets higher and faster ? are you able to hover stationary onthe cushion?

Is it a 10hp horizontal engine or even more than 10hp?

I started off with an 8hp and then upgraded to an 11hp engine. An 11hp was used in this video

With a single engine, one cannot hover in place. Forward movement is required to hover.
