@Renemachtfun2 You need to get to a certain part of the game . Of course you wouldnt get it, you didnt even play much.

@Renemachtfun2 Defeat some boss, then that boss will drop a key, bring it to the ship and "Challenge Mode unlocked"

@coolio45732480 when you get to the citadel of spiders(in the perplexing pool) you go to the final floor, and then beat the giant spider in that one big room. get the key and there u go. if you want more info, ill give you more info just pm me.
