when sum1 asks if something is an actual match i assume they mean "Was this match real or was it planned/choreographed?" whether or not something is an actual match never had anything to do with whether it was a tournament match or not...tournament vs. casual matches separate matches where people should try/care vs. ones where they shouldnt mind....altho...its not uncommon for ppl to not care about tournaments and others to care about friendlies

knowing when the guns fire is a really easy thing to do....they always fire at the same times...and YLink must be crouching in order to stay down there without getting hurt. All ness has to do is shoot a pk thunder at him when he should be crouching and he is screwed

ness vs. ness gun camping doesnt work....cause while one is healing on the guns the other is healing with arwings...and the one on the guns has forced hisself into a corner. In order to even attempt camping the guns in ness dittos you have to get an entire stock ahead and even then...ness can attack the guns safely with PK Thunder

Y. Link also benefits from this stage, probably moreso than Ness; if you duck at the ship's guns, his shield will protect him. If you approach from below, you can get spiked by his DTilt, and from above you're still open to attack.

Anyways, I'm just biased against any stage that has hazards that can break combos; in this case, the Arwings and Wolf's occasional ship.

In all seriousness though, have you ever lost on this stage with Ness? And can you come up with any ways to counter this?

Yeah. I lost to Wobbles on this stage and to Zelgadis. I feel that Ness can do better here than YLink(oh no another low tier on corneria!) and as far as vs. mode goes, camping vs. ness on corneria is impossible until you are an entire stock ahead of him(and YLink particularly cant gun camp vs. ness)

as far as me losing goes, sure there are things i can do to stop that, those losses were a learning experience, but that just means they will do something else to beat it.

Ness is better than ylink here.

Ness unlike ylink has a larger variety of options to do when the other person gets on the lasers such as grab..ylink can only upb out of sheild which isnt too effective.

plus, ness can regain health=he doesnt need percent advantage to go down there and he can recover damage given to him while fighting on the lasers.

If they approach Y. Link, he can spam bombs. If they approach from below, Y. Link can either DTilt for the meteor smash or DSmash (although it will destroy the guns after a couple of times). If they approach from above, he can shffl' an UAir and lead it to UTilts or NAirs.

All of the following will get you killed when the ship charges though, so I guess Ness really does have the upper hand here.
