Hey hi .. i have a composite AV cable and a 3G s, i m trying to connect my iphone to TV and only audio plays on my TV .. btw my TV is a SONY 46 inch KDL5100 model. I called up APPLE and SONY , but none could help. they kept blaming on each other.

and in some forums i heard the 3.0 update is not letting play video any more. is that true? please help me. thanks

Instead of just plugging the one end to my ipod, the AV cords into the t.v, and the usb into my computer to charge it....Can i just plug it into my ipod and use the USB into my computer to sync my ipod? or only charge it...? i want to buy one of these but i also lost my USB for syncing music

Conposite is for the older tvs with just the basic colors white, red, and yellow, and coponent is for the newer tvs that have the green one.

Swap the video with some sound man. Your sound is disabled by youtube!

U cant do apps, you will have to jailbreak it, if you have jailbrock it go to cydia and get aan app called "screensplitr" and you can do everything you can do with the app

The Resolution is way to little for a good picture.

But it is also possible that your TV makes a better picture. My TV makes from 640x480 a exelent picture ;)

the same cable? i used 2 diffrent cabels.

but i may now your problem. did you switch the input of your hdtv to the correct input (composite oder component)?
