the funny thing is about this lineup vs. the current lineup is that shawn takes a lot of shit for not being as good as menza which i think is obviously true...but shawn still kicks fuckin ass. but in terms of a base sound james is awesome, but i undeniably prefer ellefson in the band. its not even james' fault at all- megadeth has a certain feel with mustaine and ellefson on stage together that james could never amount to- and this had nothing to do with skill but more of the history of the band

James was pretty decent, but I am SO glad that David Ellefson is back. He was part of the reason (being a bass player) that I got into Megadeth in the first place. I heard the first few seconds of Peace Sells and I was hooked for life!

Mustaine and Drover have a greater bond that mustaine had with menza, in the later years mustaine couldn't stand menza and vice versa :S Mustaine fired him for the best interest of the band in my opinion, even though it was out of paranoia :S

as for Marty, both his creativity and Mustaine's were going seperate ways in late 90s :S they both did good on their own i think.

maybe its for the best, but we should stop dwelling on the past.

Dude, I would bet a hundred bucks that the vocals on this DVD was recorded in studio. Dave's lips are out of sync with his words several times, and there are times he sings very high open vowels with his mouth almost closed... very suspicious...

I think he's singing i can sound like 60% like trust from not moving my mouth and singing and grunting.
