Billy Zane played a good charistic demon, and thru this was a great movie to begin with, I have to kinda wonder if it be just as good if it was remade with different effects and actors....but have Billy come back to thr role.

Oh... Wow... It's really rated R? I wouldn't have watched it if I'd known that. LOL I usually don't watch horror movies or anything. =) But, this was so good. The thing is, I don't think it was that scary for an R rated film... I mean it didn't really scare me. (No offense meant at all)

I never understood why this didn't explode into it's own mythos with multiple movies, graphic novels, etc. Just seemed like too cool of a story to let lie with just one film centered on the Demon Knight story.

@TheBAAADKitty Hehe yeah, actually it is. It's the first of three "Tales from the Crypt" movies made following the HBO TV series. ("Bordello of Blood" and "Ritual" are the others, neither of them as good as this one IMO) I think there's even a two pack DVD with this and "Bordello" on it if you want to look it up.

And I agree even though a lot of people diss this movie as "not being in the spirit of the EC tradition" I think it fits the *show* and is quiet entertaining as a lovable B movie.

@RattyRandnums 'Ritual' wasn't originally a "TFTC" movie. They just added on the Cryptkeeper scenes for that for its US release to improve its performance.

Well..... i am 25 years old and i watched the episodes and the movies, the other being " Bordello of blood" the newest one of the 2 that has to do with hot women being sexy vampires :D .... That was when i was about 11... do the math, they only had as good as technology took em... Hence what gives them an old outdated look... But there still amazing movies and shows to watch ^_-

@TheBAAADKitty This is a movie. It got a theatrical release. Well, it got a theatrical release here in the U.S. I'm not sure about else where. It came out in the mid 90's. It had a balanced blend of horror and comedy that wasn't over the top, IMO.
