I would have drafted a featured half back to play with Portis. I would have made Sellers a fill-in and short yardage back. Sellers is 36 years old and has a lot of miles on him. That would help extend both of their careers and help us win more games!

Actually there is a term called chip block. Its usually performed by the halfback or fullback. This happens on nearly all passing plays where there is no blitz and the HB is blocking.
that doesn't make sense, it's called check block, i play HB, it's where the Hb or FB finds an open gap where someone unblocked comes through and blocks that person, there is no such thing as a chip block.
For more advanced football players, this is a chip block. Its meant to help mainly the tackles. WHen a Defensive player attempts to shed off the tackle, its the running backs job to chip block which is shown here.
