I totally agree with the nomination list. Especially Best Actor,Actress and Supporting Actress. Supporting Actor, the winner is the battle between Herth Ledger, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Josh Brolin. But I like to include James Franco and Ralph Fiennes to this list as well. 2 out of tis 4 will compete to grab the another 2 seat. Best Picture CCBB n Slumdog Millionaire is 100% nominated, as well as Milk and RR. The last seat will be the fight between Doubt, The Reader and Frost/Nixon.
i agree...i've seen all and slumdog millionare is the most authentic feel good film of all...but ofcourse it's not goin 2 win because of the big name actorz in the other filmz
TDK will get the supporting actor nod. It's probably the one thing that is a lock this year. Best Picture nod, no way. It was a good film. I just think that the acting from Aaron Eckhart was very stale. I think a screenplay nod would be good. Look for it to clean up in the technical categories (Remember The Bourne Ultimatum?)
dont rule out Dev Patel...alot of ppl are making noises about this kid maybe getting a nomination (esp. if Slumdog Millionaire gets a Best Picture nomination)
Thank fuck they out Mickey Rourke in there. Id love to see him not only get nominated but win it and Heath better dominate the supporting actor catergory
If The Dark Knight doesn't get a Best Picture nomination, I will not be happy. It deserves to be on this list as it was just as good or better than the predicted movies. I think the amount of money it made from being a summer blockbuster of the comic book genre will hurt it. I think that's unfair, but it seem that's what's going to happen.
And I have no taste in movies why? Because you don't like The Dark Knight, because you believe it's too hyped, and because if I like it and in my opinion thinks it deserves something I have no taste in movies. Sure. I don't need to defend my tastes in any movie. I love all types of movies, and think there have been great movies this year and this season alone. Do I think it should win B.P. not really, but really dude. Grow up, and have better things to do beside bash people on the net.
What are you're tastes in movies, and since you know what the MTV Movie Awards standards are, because I didn't even know that show still came on, then you are obviously the one who doesn't have taste in movies. You really should comment on things just because you don't like them. It's better to be silent and moronic than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
lol, typical pseudo movie expert who pretends he has no idea what the MTV movie awards are to try to make himself look like the one with "better" taste in film.
You're the only one looking moronic by stating that "The Fag Knight" is better than films like Milk and Slumdog Millionaire and I liked that stupid movie, I just can't stand it's fanbase, trying to make it look like the masterpiece of the new millennium when it's nothing more than a pretentious sunday popcorn flick.
Actually, I don't think nomination means win. I said it deserves a nomination, I thought Milk was amazing, I thought Slumdog Millionare was very moving, and I do have an idea what the MTV Movie awards are, but I remember them being remotely watchable when I was in high school. Didn't know anybody still watched it. And the fact that who call it F** Knight shows just how tasteless and moronic you are. So you can say what you want, you look like the idiot. I'll enjoy your next comment now...

I call it that because I know it annoys the crap out of fanboys like you and there's really nothing else in your comment worth addressing so, as I said, better stay tuned for the MTV's or the Teen Choice Awards cause I'm pretty sure you're another one of those morons who just found out what an Oscar is because he heard that his favorite superhero movie has the buzz for it and don't worry, I won't enjoy your next comment, cause I'm not even going to read it.
I love how you justified your homophobic, rude title change. You must be a miserable person because it doesn't do anything to annoy me, it just makes you look stupid. And you're right you can't address anything else, because you have nothing intelligent to comment with. All you can do is insult someone based on an opinion. So cheers friend, I'll be enjoying the Oscars, as I do every year, no matter who's nominated or not.
Ya'both need to chill a bit. Oscars don't mean crap...Sally Kirkland won one for cryin' out loud. No movie award shows do, accept maybe the various guilds. Truth is, opheloo...You're a tool! The Dark Knight was not a "superhero" movie, but a great crime drama, with bonus of intense, riveting action. If you compare Heath's "Joker" with other supporting performances of the year and don't believe he falls in the top five, then you're more pretentious then any "Sunday popcorn flick".
they predict leonardo and STILL get the reader right for best pic? wow

1) Rourke has a really good chance of getting nominated, if not winning.
2) I would be surprised if The Dark Knight wasn't nominated for Best Picture, but I'd be even more surprised if it won.

You obviously have no taste in movies, better stay tuned for the MTV Movie Awards, I'm sure the "The Fag Knight" will have a clean sweep there.
