WHY WHY WHY didnt they use make up like this for salvation, they use cgi all the time and we can all tell it doesnt fool anyone ever. But in t2 the make up was amazing, the little models or sometimes the big models of the terminators moving or w.e looked amazing. It was a shame in salvation when they used cgi terminators and the move like that, they moved too smoothly in salvation they were not machine like at all, it was an ok movie but it could have been so much better if they used real models

in T2 and T4 they used same budget "200 million" however in 1991 "200 million was like 400 million now" so T4 didnt have enought budget to make all robots not CGI. they used few real. like bikes couldnt be real, they had to be CGI,,

I think your speculating on the money situation, i dont think it is because 'they couldnt'...

I thought the body looked very realistic. Except that it looked as if they made him a bit bigger than he really was. His face also looked a bit animated, but overall it looked amazing. The body looked real, and as long as they keep working on it, I think we'll be seeing an amazing looking Arnold in the future Terminator movies.
