  • hmm..ripping off 2007 honda civic design

    huh really innovative !

so tell me when is this hybrid coming out? do i have to keep dreaming

  • Build a great looking concept car. Then build a car nothing like it. GM is done. exite then disapoint.

  • Why not do away with a traditional grille if it is not needed? This car is a paradigm shift.

  • Agreed

  • Not needed? It still has a combustion engine you know.

I wouldn't call it a paradignm shift but it's a step in the right direction, especially since it's made in the US. Finally they have woken up.

  • Dude, he actually says that they don't need a front grille because the air intakes are on the side. That thing isn't functional.

  • The only theory I have is that maybe they would worry about the more "style-driven" buyers would see it as too much of a radical change to get rid of the grille.

  • True that.

  • GM is finally starting to "get it"! I hope this Volt is a huge success!

  • GM has had it for a while now. However low fuel prices meant there was way more money in SUVs, and that sort of prevented them from doing the "right" thing and making nice cars.

You have to keep in mind this is a company strapped for cash. Toyota would have done the same thing if they were in a similar position.

  • Man belive me Volt it's far beyond Toyota capabilities
