  • Man they go hard In this one, especially the first verse!

  • Does anybody have the lyrics to this?

  • regardless of what all yall crackers wanna think, race and music, and indeed, race and one's experience and life are inextricably linked, so it does make a difference whether you're white or black, its just that it doesn't determine EVERYTHING

  • "the Tightest "....

  • @colesauce ........ I spent an hr lookin for you

  • I'm currently 37 years old.. listen to music all the time and have heard a lot of good shit.. call it a moment in time or whatever, but for me, these guys are still my favourite musical artists EVER. Inner city griots all FUCKING day.

  • If there were more dope lyricists like these fellas, tha game would be alrite. Instead we have a fucking CO (Rick Ross) a rape victim of Birdmans (Lil Wayne) and some random fag of Degressi (Drake). They claim they was hustlin' nah Wayne was getting raped and Rick Ross was beating up on people of his own race. People like Aceyalone don't get enough recognition because my generation decided to listen to bullshit, repetative crap.

  • @2:40 who dis

    ?

  • @deine1m2 Aceyalone

  • yo wat's the name of the first mc?

mad respect to the cats that listen to this realism instead of that mtv "swagger"justin bieber" bullshit

im only 18 but i know that this is better than brainwashing people with things like " i got swag , so chicks dig me "

greetz from holland ,( mather of fact , greetz from the shop where im smokin my splif while surfing the internet listening to real shit like this .

  • I'm coming from Germany and its true that even here most of the black people i've talked to didn't really know anything valueable about hip hop but this isn't restricted on the color of your skin. Someone who listens to rap should at least know what hip hop is, so that he don't get it twisted with lil weezy an stuff, no matter if he'S black or white. Besides i think, if someone is intelligent, he would rather listen to real hip hop instead of the commerce shit

  • @russianblizzard im from germany too and its the same here

  • @russianblizzard richtig bruder wahre worte !

  • @russianblizzard richtig so !

  • Fett ... ;)

  • stop it at 2:18 its funny

  • aww shit this track kicks your ass

  • Btw....To be honest Freestyle Fellowship Never got the props they deserve! They almost were signed to DEATH ROW RECORDS if you can believe that. Suge Knight liked the music was going to sign em, But Lady Of Rage talked him out of it citing that her album wasnt out yet, and taking them on would have been too much! Also they are from The Jungles in L.A., go watch Training Day again and that Part where they go to the Hood Is the Jungle! Yes it's a real place, I live here!

  • @SKOTxFREE i thought they were all from leimart park?

  • First Big ups Good life/Project Blowed fam! I was blessed to be taught every Thursday by these Brothas! • I like how they are alterna-rappers what the fuck is that ?? I mena they rayhme about shooting cats so how alternative are they ? ha ha

  • Ha ha. Mikah's head dont stop rockin!

  • Yup the striking thing about these masters of the art is their intellect which pierces through everything they say. It seems that we moving backwards toward the buffoonery of substance-lacking black entertainment. @ tansky33a I agree I wish rap had gone this route I am sure that the world would have more respect for the intellect of a black man or woman, more importantly blacks would have an awareness and reverence for our own minds, foster it and consequently a respect for ourselves.

  • Freestyle Fellowship is that real shit.

  • People who say that rap sucks should listen to this song.

  • I cannot believe how much I loved the movie "This is the Life" and the music spotlighted therein. I am 61 yr old white woman who hates rap (I am also a jazz musician, go figgur!) This is what I call 'great music' and I even like the lyrics. I'm going to find this album in mp3 form and BUY it (I could torrent it but will not).

Great music, although not my 'real favorite' but I love it anyway. They were ahead of their time, truly.

  • Why do you hate rap?

  • Probably because rap sucks ass nowadays....

    Peace to the Goodlife foundation

  • Nice!

  • Check out the group that 2 of these artists with one other guy formed, "Haiku d'Etat" very jazzy music. Amazing, as well.

  • blaze it

  • at 2:50 you can hear part of 7th seal in the track.

  • Everyones verse starts off with a sample of one of their songs off of To whom it May Concern. PEACE's verse starts off of with the beginning of his third verse on "Physical Form" with the line "No more than thirty-thousand words a minute". Jupiter's verse starts off with a sample from "Jupiter's Journey". Acey's verse starts off with the line "Every rapper in the house shut the funk up" from My Fantasy.
