  • I saw them play in Va Beach in the early '90s, awesome band!

  • 15 seconds of commercial and the sound sucks. you suck EMI

  • I heard this song on the radio once about 7 years ago and it's stuck with me ever since. Never been able to find it before. Hooray! I like this!

  • O.J. just got away with mur...

    Wait no he didn't.....

  • I have to listen to this every time I go to Disney... and I am now... how does this not have even 100k views? WTF?

  • verry good pisan euy

  • I was in my early 30's when this came out, totally cool, got all their 90's albums!

  • DIZZ KNEE LAND!!!!!

  • Thinks Casey Anthony is kinda hot. Im going to Dizz Knee Land

  • Jesse James talked a whole lotta shit and lost the build off. He's going to Dizz Knee Land...

  • I just graduated from college and I'm going to Disney Land!

  • Great band, and Michael Gurley sure is one terrific guitarist. Never seen Dada before (got several CD's) so nice to see who sings what on this song. Love it!

  • @fomori2 now its all make sense...haha.....nice one mate :D

  • my last name is Kneeland, this is wierd.

  • @bloomtoferal no, that's just a weird name

  • one of the best bands that you've never heard of. And that's a shame..

  • one of my favorite bands and songs of all time. most folks have never heard of em.

  • i heart that riff!!!!

  • love this shit

  • I'm not sure if some people know this or not, but 'Dizz Knee Land' is a slang term for prison. Hence all the acts they commit in the song are sending them to jail.

  • oh 8th grade how i miss you so!

  • anyone have direct tv? I heard this song and other awesome songs last night on their "Reality Bites" music channel

  • This whole album reminds me of when I was a kid and my dad would take me to work. We'd listen to Dada to and from work. Thanks for great songs guys you rock 18 years later

  • OMG I love this so much........I had it for a ringtone.

  • ...My last name is actually DADA :D

  • Have always loved this song but i'm not sure a man should EVER do 1:37! haha

  • I heard this song wayback in Nu107,when there's no new wave program anymore in Nu107,also thier song "DIM".

  • One of those songs you don't hear for a decade and then wonder how you ever forgot.

  • One of my favs of all times!!!!!

  • I went to Disneyland and kicked Mickey mouse's ass. Would that require me to go to Dizz knee land even though I'm already there?

  • Always will love this song. Have not heard in years, but was always present in my mind.

  • 9 people went to Kings Island

  • Vevo can eat a dick

  • i liked how you could apply "i just flipped off president george" to both presidents

  • This has been 1 of my fav songs since it came out (1998). Aside from being a great song i've always wanted to know what studio it was recorded at. Listen carefully, this is prolly the best sound quality you have ever heard. Whoever mixed this did an amazing job. The vocals, guitars and drums are crystal clear.

  • @qwertydorknut5 this song came out in like '93 or '94

  • @barkpeeler2000 I stand corrected! 1st released as a promo in '92, the single was released in '93. Thx for helping me unwedge my head from my ass! haha

  • Casey Anthony just got away with murder. She's going to Dizz Knee Land.

  • the first time me and my friend herd this we laughed our asses off

  • These guy's are a very talented group and they have no issue with interacting with the public. Very down to earth and approachable. I was their security at Montalvo and I have to say that they were very nice guy's. I can't wait to see them perform again, next time as the headlining band!

  • I miss the 90s

  • dude can sure shred on that strat

  • @thekeynotespeaker He's good...but shred is deffinately not a word that describes his playing style.

  • hahaha I remember going to disneyland with my high school band in 1998 and EVERYONE sang this song the whole way there.....one of the best memories lol

  • I LOVE DA DA!!!!

  • Puzzle was a kick-ass album. These guys were too good for the 'alternative' genre they were lumped into...but sounded too 'alternative' for the mainstream. Great stuff no matter what you call it.

  • 58,700 views? Well, I think that is about 6 Billion short, agreed?

  • @TuesdayThursday23 AGREED!! Just saw them last Friday at Montalvo in Saratoga, CA. It's CRIMINAL that these guys haven't recieved more recognition.

  • @TuesdayThursday23 These guys never got the attention they deserved because they refused to deal with big record companies that wanted to change their music.

  • @TuesdayThursday23 definitley, my band plays this song out.. Goes over really well. Most people ask us.. Who does that song? It is really good.

  • I just tossed a 5th of gin

  • mike girly is is got groove<3 seen them when they first came out, good show mind u;)totally enjoyed puzzle:)

  • I'm pretty much a Metalhead but even so, I full on WORSHIP Dada!!! Along with Kings X this is the most underated band since the introduction of the electric guitar.

  • Gotta confess, this is the only song I know by Dada but I LOVE it! Around ten years ago I saw them live and was blown away!! I'm a musician and when the show ended I was ON FIRE to jam with someone. These guys tear it up and jam like there's no tomorrow. That's why I'm looking forward to seeing them again in a couple weeks. Sure have missed them. Hope they still rock like they did then, and I'm sure they will! (Who are the poor saps who rag on this song?!)

  • @allarff They definitely still rock out!

  • @torren61 wow. what a douche. has to be "charted" to be good. So, then, Britney Spears is good? now, without lying, are you british? or just a tool? tick, tick, tick.....

  • Ohz Noz! 6 people accidently pressed the dislike button!

  • Awesome song

  • im kinda suprized dis guy is still alowd in disney land

  • PUZZLE was an awesome album! They made the mistake of messing with DIZCO which really did a number on them. I love this song and the one named "Dim" from the album. Thesae guys were awesome!

BTW: 6 people hitched a ride on a monkey's back! LOL

  • Its nice to see so many people comment onhere nicely about this band. I been in the music industry all my life and this was liek the first band i ever "got into", im 29 now and i was a young teen just getting into music/discovering what i liked. I bought this single in a bargin bin for 20p in my local record store!! then i relised i had to have the Puzzle album its off .. this turned out to be the first album i ever bought.. never looked back since then.

  • Love this song...I miss this kind of music!

  • I just got stopped by the cops on Christmas Eve. So, I'm going to Disney Land.

  • It's a little too quiet ... great song though, thanks for posting.

  • I bought this CD when it first came out, and I still have it. Its a great album and the sound quality is nothing short of amazing, fantastic studio work!

  • Im related to the head singer, hes my uncle...totally blasted this song on the way to disneyland

  • Awww shizz I forgot about this song!!!!!

    Where can I get it?

  • FUCK VEVO!!!!!!! Can barely hear this song. Go to another video on youtube-sound quality alot better

  • @muttr it sounds fine to me

  • i got the same guitar

  • Buckethead loves Disneyland

  • Just found out about these guys, Im goin to Dizz Knee Land!

  • man these guys could really play

  • @Ashburnalley5 They still Rock and are touring! they will be at a small venue in Phili for Newyears!

  • @Peacenrespect yeah I saw they are playing the north star bar. It's a pretty cool place to see a show but the bar itself isn't all that., I bet it will rock though.

  • Jizz knee land, lol XD

  • @loldudeG123 lol @ 14 year old

  • Haha. "I just flipped off President George"

I always thought it was "I just took down President George"

  • @QJosephP I've been guilty of mishearing the lyrics on this for years too.

"I just tossed a fifth of gin"

    ...

"I just tossed off at the gym"

    ;-/ LOL.

  • @aldhous

Yeah, and whenever I find out that I've been mishearing a song, it changes my whole image of the song.

    Indeed, :-/ lol.

  • Love these guys! Got to see them live 3 different venues in Colorado in 1996 :) They are so extremely talented! Wicked guitar, insane bass and Phil is an awesome drummer! Most Overlooked band of the century!

  • gah im old i remember this!!!i loved it lol

  • it's some wicked guitar work and hell the drummer has to

go in and book the rooms all singles, Somebodys got to do it and

he's the straightest lookin' one of the bunch

  • saw these guys several times in NY/NJ about 10 yrs back in small clubs with only about 100 people. They were one of the tightest best sounding bands I remember from that time..all in a power trio with great vocals. Wish they still were around.

  • I remember when this came out, too. I was a college DJ and it was a sample. People were always requesting it.

  • I saw Dada play in Tacoma about 5 years ago in front of only about 250 peolpe. They still put on a GREAT show! It's amazing how few people realize how talented these guys really are.

  • Comment removed

  • Dada got royally robbed. This was, like, their ONLY song that got reasonable radio time. Which is total bullshit. Like, every song on Puzzle was a gem. American Highway Flower and El Subliminoso were other gems, yet they got virtually no radio time for any of their songs on those albums (at least not to my knowledge they didn't).

This band was (and still is) one of my favorites of all time, such a shame they never got more recognition, when they truly deserved it.

  • @metroidprimefan18 So very true.

saw the play a small bar in Indy so long ago, and they rocked the place!!!!

    Peace.

    Rock

  • @rockinroller7 Man if I ever get lucky enough to see Dada in person, that would be amazing. I've been listening to these guys since Puzzle first came out, and I was only 3 or 4...memories.

  • @metroidprimefan18

    Cool. Very cool.

    Peace.

    Rock

  • Great Tune - Bought the CD, at a Record Store (a place that sold records, tapes and CDs back in the olden days) and Saw the video on MTV when they still just played videos and Bevis and Butthead

  • @xaq1Jim2004 beavis and butthead are returning

  • Great tune!!!Saw the video on VH1 Classic a week ago and thought I'd try to find it on youtube and here it is!!!!!Amazing!!!!!Great song from a great band!!!!!Puzzle is a great album/cd!!!!!!!!!!Peace love and beer from your friend BALLS!!!!!

  • i also heard this song on the radio

  • Capitol Records must have bought this song cuz I can remember listening to this in the 80's

  • I love Dada

  • this album is amazing.

  • Anyone know where you can hear their song, "I'm Feeling Nothing" online? I can't find it ANYWHERE. It's their best song.

  • I heard this song on the radio last week and loved it!! Sooo glad i found it cause i didn't know the band name till now. Great song!!

  • @missolareclipse wow you are dumb this is a great song, there are way worse songs out there.

  • I had forgotten all about the timeless classic. Thanks for sharing this one.

  • I've had the pleasure of seeing Dada live a few times. They know how to bring it.

  • Lead vocal is Joie Talio. I dated his sister back in 1992 in the North Bay. Dada opened for Sting that summer at Berkeley's Greek Theater. They rocked. So much so, no one was in a hurry for Sting necessarily although he was amazing as well. It was a full moon night and unforgettable.

I still have this Puzzle "album" that I bought at Sound Warehouse before it's demise...

  • @ciance If you really dated his sister, you'd know that his last name is Calio, not Talio.

  • Apparently not about Disneyland at all. Fuck it, thats what I'll always associate it with :D haha

  • Great fucken song.....they knew the future.....

  • dada is in the studio writing and recording new music!

  • they are rocking pretty hard to a softer jam

  • What a great band.

  • dizz knee land is always the answer

  • i cant tell if the video is supposed to be a joke

  • This song rules. :)

  • This band has MANY great songs, great harmony

  • love this tune

  • i just flicked off prezident gorge!!

  • I still love this song.

  • @sunsetat6 me to

  • dada have several other great songs... "I feel nothing, I feel fine" and more. Check out the 2nd cd.

  • i hope these guys got laid during their 15 min

  • hey nirvana was out than to brother we rocked back in 92.........

  • these guys need haircuts!

  • this was in 92 bro we rocked and nirvana played many show's with the dada project.

  • Ahhhh childhood........

  • this is why i dont drink anymore, the lyrics i mean, lmfao

  • This is why I continue to drink.

  • whatever happened to this band...one hit wonder? I covered this tune on drums, but it can't be viewed due to a copyright restriction.

  • Its amazing people still commenting on this old song.

  • Why did they choose to use the name dada? I can't see at all how it's fitting. It's almost insulting.

  • @worldsworstjukebox ...thank you

  • Aww man I forgot all about this song! Definitely a big underrated 90's hit.

  • @ArmandiMan123 Agrreed. And EXTREMELY underrated song album and band. I worked at a Sam Goody in Philly in the early 90s, we would play "Puzzle" almost non-stop, the album is just damn good from start to finish. Saw them at the TLA downtown when "American Highway Flower" came out (again an underrated/noticed CD) Got to talk to the band a little bit after the show..cool bunch of guys with great music.

  • I remember this song on the radio!!!!

  • I always blast this wen i go to Dizz Knee Land, helps get me thru traffic

  • These guys WERE (or, shoulda been) THE band of the '90's.

Maybe the closest thing to the Beatles since.

    Really listen to their records.

GREAT songs and musicians love 'em.

  • @Nacho66

The closest thing to the Beatles? Really? I mean... REALLY?

All You Need Is Love, I Want To Hold Your Hand, Can't Buy Me Love, Love Me Do, She Loves You, A Hard Days Night, I Feel Fine, Eight Days A Week, Ticket To Ride, Help, Yesterday, We Can Work It Out, Paperback Writer, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields Forever...

  • @torren61 well at least you can read some album covers.

  • this song is so b a

  • I've had this song stuck in my head for years and I could never remember who did it. I'm so glad I remembered that we live in an age of com-poo-ters other wise ida never found this... Thank god for the 90's...

  • @WakeEntry right on!!

  • my mom thinks i'm too young to like this song, haha.

  • This is a good song! Love rockin' out to this one!

  • This seems like a song that should have been really popular, I have no clue how I stumbled upon it haha. This is exactly how i think of the 90's ..

  • Great song from my teen years. I was about 15 when this came out.

  • their hair looks like pet shop boys meet pearl jam....

  • For what it is worth this was a big hit here in the land down under Australia. I remember driving down the road at 200mph listening to this. Maybe it was the drugs I took in my younger days but I can hear influences from Matthew Sweet and Lynard Skynard. Everything about this song is extra cool and the lead guitar at the end is brilliant and appropriate because it doesn't 'murder the tune'.

  • these guys need haircuts!

  • we use to do this song in 1990's and all crowd's loved it.........ernieflanagan do a friend request on facebook or myspace

  • I don't know why this song never became a big hit. It has got the catchiest guitar lick at the begininning and throughout the some. The lyrics were good, the rest of the band, the drummer, bassist, kick ass guitar solo at the end of the song. WHAT'S UP

  • I loved this song when I was ten years old, and it still holds up. This is the first time I've ever seen the video though.

  • I just flipped off Obama! I'm goin to dizz-knee land. Nice. Like the old-time hard rockers, but.. .with something new!

  • OMG i love this song and cant find it anywhere

  • Finding this song on YouTube proves that you can find ANYTHING on this site.

    Thanks for posting!

  • No-Doubt !!!! Hah ,, Ive been lookin for this Forever.... Forgot , it was spelled Dizz knee land .......

  • to bad the drummer looks like a respectable member of society...they lose all credibility

  • Nothing wrong with being a respectable anything.

You think Bush or Obama are respectable?

They're criminals of the lowest degree.

I just flipped off all of them man.I'm goin to dizzknee land.

  • @frrrrruuunkis Yeah ,that's what matters ...not the music. What a tool

  • @frrrrruuunkis Good Drummer though - I was lucky enough to see them in Edinburgh in 1994/5ish - Great band - shame they didn't do more.

  • @frrrrruuunkis didnt he go on to found the " Blue Man Group? "

  • @frrrrruuunkis The new drummer is from blue man group

  • been trying to find this for a long time thanks for posting

  • superpiglicker

i want to go to that dizz knee land cuz iv made some e ticket f*** ups before so my tickets sponged

  • I guess I'm really old then, 'cause I remember when this song came out.

I bet they never thought they'd get another eight years out of the line "I just flipped off President George". lmao

  • yep, I hear you. thought the exact same thing about the President George line. We won't even talk about the age thing.

  • @motley22 Especially since we only had 4 years of George 1 but we had eight years of his idiot son.

  • @BassPlayerSusan Much better than the idiot we have now...

  • lol ive known this song for a really long time its awesome and hysterical

  • I heard this song today on 100.3 the sound.

    Found it!

  • i love the lead singers hair!! too bad boys dont have hair like that anymore! D: and i know this song and im a teenaged girl

  • Me too haha im 13.

    Ill be 14 in october.
