I don't get it. Why would Lucy have a cut off finger when in AC2 we find out that the Assassins didn't have to do that anymore during Ezio's time? Unless the developers just realized it was kind of dumb to include and negated it later on.

btw.: Go with Desmond to the table of Animus and take the pen of VIdic and then go to vidic's notebook, check out his news and find the password in the notebook for the closed room. the password is about 10281943 something like that. and in the room check another notebook. you can also check Lucys notebook.

play ac2, it shows everything, its much more opening than ac. you see, the old man with lucy and desmond is a templar. and he's looking for the pieces of eden. in which opens the vault (ac2 story) and subject 16 is the former guy they had. but he died and left messages in desmonds room, basicly he's trying to say something, he died because they kept putting him back in and in and kept em too long. so in part two, desmond escapes with lucy and basicly we move to 15 century italy. to continue

Altair is Desmond ancestor. through Desmond genetic coding, these other parties hope to access Altair memories and find the orb that Altair hid away for all these centuries. In the present, Desmond is a nobody. It's just his genetic coding that makes him a somebody. In essence, Desmond is really a present projection of Altair but it's just locked away.

Like I said, Desmond is a nobody to them. To them, Desmond is simply a vessel to find out what Altair did; where he hid the orb. Once they know and know for sure, they have no more use for Desmond. This is not something they said outright. It's just a synopsis of where this Desmond/Altair character is heading based on the given facts that this story is letting us know so far. Tune in to 'Assassin Creed 2'!

Altair was the key to all of this. He had the knowledge. Unfortunately for the present day people, there is no way of extracting the info out of Altair; unless they're able to build a Delorean, travel back in time and interrogate Altair but that not going to happen.

I don't know how much of this is true since I got it from alot of different people but I think Desmond was going to be raised as a present day assassin, but he ran away. He became a bar tender and then Lucy and Dr. Creepy and their company found him. Desmond is the decendent of Altair and they are using the animus to sort of hack (for loss of better word) into Altairs memory to find out where Altair hid whatever it is they are looking for. Once they don't need Desmond anymore, they will kill him

i have actually managed to access all three computers.Firstly very early in the game you can access lusy's computer.Then after on or two memory blogs you can sneak behind the doctor ans steal his pen so you gain access to his computer too.From lusy's computer you gain the password for the door which blocks your way in the conference room and from the doctors pc you get the password for the computer in there.But none of the e-mails says something that would continue the game so it ends there.

well , after this short cutscene you are back in the animus and you can choose a chapter but ... you have to go out of the animus again and search some emails in the lap tops , you will find some passwords and you can walk to next rooms ....... but i think there is nothing more :)
