biggest improvement in Scola's game has been his release on his jumpshot. He used to have that slow, long wind-up on his jumper, but now it appears to be a much quicker release. That has definitely helped him shoot over the top of defenders. Back then, unless he was wide open, he couldn't get the shot off over defenders within 5 feet of him. Now, he can. Gotta love Scola working hard to improve his craft, especially in a year where he would be counted on more than ever (no Yao).
