Yes i have the same version from well b4 they started 2 get big but put it on a didc with others so cant remember if it was a b-side 2 an early single or a bootleg i found somewhere sorry. But i still think that this is the best version as it feals so raw n full of emotion

It's a nostalgic, philosophical song about all those things you do that could have been different and you'd be the same. One more kiss, a shaving nick, how do you know your last swing aint the last for good?...and all those things that happen that shape your life you have no control over...tired street parade, a fresh summer peach....They're all not up to me, not up to you. Nice idea but it's actually about a man who died in a car crash, the shaving nick and extra kiss were kinda "what if's". What if he stopped for an extra few seconds because of a shaving nick or stopped to give his wife an extra kiss, would he have still been involved in the accident. But at the end of the day we don't know and "fate" is not up to us
