continuance of last comment: turned down the roles of the characters in the movie,and i like the designs of the bay movie characters because the bots have to look more realistic,it's a live action movie,if you have a cartoon-ish looking character in a live action movie,then it's gonna look sorta idiotic....but that's just my opinion.
The first Bay Transformers film was terrible, but I have to say the third one felt like a real transformers movie, not up to the original but I enjoyed it and I didn't enjoy the first one.
@delta38vader Honestly, I think they look more realistic here. You think any robot with a finished design is going to have that many wire's poping out? Yeah, probably not. The thing that I like here is the transformers are characters, not just giant special effects. If you're robots were only going to be their for the special effects, why not adapt something like Gundam or Macross/Robotech.

Another great sequence from a classic movie. The Decepticons straight massacred these Autobots. I mean, you see this one your a kid and you're like, "WOW! That was intense." You watch it when you're older, and the feeling is the same. That is some brutal, brutal violence being perpetrated.

The producers of the movie changed the name of the band from Kick Axe to Spectre General in the film credits without telling them, deeming the name "Kick Axe" to be offensive for a kid's cartoon. Kick Axe was a Canadian band. NRG was an American band that disbanded, and the lead singer Les Brown formed the band Damn Cheetah in 2003 with former members of Blacklace.
I love THE Transformers movie. Not the shit they make now. However I always found it hilarious that when Ultra Magnus was blasted by the Sweeps and blows into pieces the Junkions just him back together like nothing happened. I HATED the way they killed off Prowl like some scrub. At least it took Megatron to kill Brawn, Ironhide, & Ratchet. But Scavenger, the weakest Constructicon, points his weak little pop-gun at Prowl and blows his guts out with one shot. BULLSHIT! Prowl &Cliffjumper are 2 of my personal fovarites because they were my first two Transformers toys. Seeing Prowl die so horribly from a pop-gun shot made me sad & angry. At least Cliffjumper survived this movie even though he was phased out lafterwards.

@Pizdets79 i agree and on top of that the death of prime of that movie was and always will be a trademark in history where thousands of kids were affected and it caused so much trouble and a massive letter writign campaign and nothing ot date matches that drama in history! at least tahts how most of us fans see it, when prime died in teh bay film i was like FUCK YES! that is what they get for screwing up primes design!

What a fucking cool film. Cartoons now suck balls, we had bad ass cartoons with giant robots, fighting cat people from the future and mutant ninja turtles, now all kids have is cartoons where the main character is a kid! How fucking boring is that! No wonder kids are out happy slapping there is fuck all on TV.
If I had the money I would make my own cartoon with badass characters instead of whiny children.

I HATED the way they killed off Prowl like some scrub. At least it took Megatron to kill Brawn, Ironhide, & Ratchet. But Scavenger, the weakest Constructicon, points his weak little pop-gun at Prowl and blows his guts out with one shot. BULLSHIT! Prowl &Cliffjumper are 2 of my personal fovarites because they were my first two Transformers toys. Seeing Prowl die so horribly from a pop-gun shot made me sad & angry. At least Cliffjumper survived this movie even though he was phased out lafterwards.
